(Newser) – The NYPD detained the equivalent of 8.6% of all New Yorkers as part of its controversial "stop and frisk" program in 2011, and almost all of them were minorities, according to a statistical breakdown the department released last night. All told, police stopped a record 685,724 people, and nearly 90% of them were either black or Hispanic, the New York Post reports. Only 9% were white and 4% Asian. In many places, the racial disparity was even worse. In the two precincts that saw the most stops, Brooklyn's 75th and 73rd, 97% and 98% of cases, respectively, involved blacks or Hispanics.

They don’t dare tell us the crime rate and descriptions of criminals in the Pcts.

You mean, whites were stopped the most?
How many had contraband?
How many had prior arrest records?
How many convictions resulted from the frisking?
Was the crime rate in the targeted neighborhoods significantly reduced?

So, in NYC they just stop people who look like Obama’s son, if he’d had a son?
The assumption is that it is racist whites doing the frisking of minorities. NYPD is 20% black and 33% Latino. Whites are a minority in NYPD. And, as we all know, minorities cannot be guilty of racism against any race.
So has ObamaCare. So have random checkpoints. So have any number of other infringements.
Also, at least part of "stop and frisk" has been ruled unconstitutional.
Later in the evening a very scruffy looking character came in and I, as one of the organizers, was going to approach him because of his looks.
If he has anything like the same persona going now, I don't doubt that he was stopped. I am, however, surprised that the police were not intercepted by his bodyguards as I was.
It was probably more like 1-2% because there is a hardcore group of several thousand gangbangers/drugdealers who probably get stopped and frisked several times a month.
I hope that sexism doesn’t play a part.

That’s as true as “anyone out after 1AM is up to no good.”
But cops and prosecutors like to encourage this belief among jurors.
There is absolutely nothing on God’s green Earth worth going to New York City for. I’ve been twice, two times too many.
Where do they get these figures.
Do the police have to make out a report each time they stop someone, and in that report have to state the race of who they searched?
So has abortion.
And so has involuntary "commerce" via obamacare.
The only thing that will restore the Constitution and our Freedoms is a revolution. The elite in D.C. can "rule" that the sky is Stewart plaid, but that doesn't make it so.

have you ever been to NYC? Walk through mid-town and maybe 40% of the people are white, at most.
I used to have a high profile customer there, and thought the money was worth it.
No longer have that customer and I’m much happier.

Not really, You can bet your last dollar, much of it was repeats of the the usual suspects and/or gang members - many known to be past offenders - up to the same shit at the same times and places as before.

It was in New Jersey, when he took a walk near one of his concert venues in a black neighborhood, where whites are profiled as drug buyers.

All true. The cops also falsely charged him with other things too. Big mess all around. I avoid cities like the plague.
Yes indeed, I would not think of going there, nor to any of the other state hellholes (Massachusetts, Maryland, Delaware, etc.). If a state does not recognize my rights as a citizen, then to hell with it. They can get their revenue from other sources.
I encourage people to boycott MA. They don’t recognize out of state licences to buy beer and such here. If you’re under 40 and they card you they have the right to refuse you. It’s crazy.
