Although California has the highest number of illegal immigrants, Nevada has the largest proportion of illegal immigrants—7.2 percent of the state population and as much as 10 percent of its workforce. California and Texas follow at just under 7 percent of their populations, with New Jersey and Arizona rounding out the top five.

Maybe the 1,650,000 are just the illegals in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio. They didn’t get around to counting all the illegals in the small towns all over the state.
A couple of weeks ago, I had the privelige to go through the federal checkpoint north of McAllen Texas. They had an electronic sign pointing out that they had caught something like 2000 illegals in 2012. I had to go through the shake down with drug sniffing dogs and lots of questions to get up the highway. And when I get to San Antonio, there are hundreds of thousands of illegals.
And we pay for all that “protection” every year.

True...these DC power addicts don’t even realize the quickness with which their drug habit will kill this country. They just don’t frigging care. The Democrats want to keep the illegal and ‘hispanic’ vote, keep the black vote, keep the VICTIM vote, and the friggin RINOs want to GET it. “I can quit anytime I want” “Of course, my power high is good for you!” “Party time!”......
RINOS want their power, even if it is second-tier. The Democrats give them their due because they know they need their fix - the throwdown pork they get, the campaign contributions, their DC home or hotel, their mistress, their boyfriend, their Potomac sailboat, their Georgetown condo, the parties, the galas, the Presidential Invitations...oh me oh my. These RINOs, like my lame duck Senator Chambliss, are ready to mainstreet down the river because they don’t even know what ‘mainstreet’ is....they know K street and the like but ‘mainstreet’ (unless it’s MLK blvd in DC or Baltimore) is foreign to them. God Damn them.

I was discussing this with an off duty Sheriff at Lowes awhile back. I asked him why those men over there weren’t picked up by ICE. He responded that there was no proof they were illegals. I was dumbfounded.
I told him to look at their clothes. Americans don’t buy crap ass $5.00 jeans that are only available in Mexico. I also told him to go talk to them as they don’t speak English and finally I told him to check for ID which they don’t have.
He asked me if I had ever been to a foreign country and I said yes. He asked if I spoke the language to which I responded no. He then asked if I would have liked it if they asked me for ID and I told him I would be impressed that at least one country enforced their laws and since I had a passport and wasn’t doing day labor in a parking lot I had nothing to worry about..
What do you mean wait? It already hit TX years ago. I know of two counties who lost their only hospital due to not being able to stay out of the red because of illegals. One finally got a new hospital but the other has been without a hospital in the entire county for 20 years. As for schools, one of our kids' was moved into a newly built campus three times. In the last 15 years, we've more than doubled the number of campuses and during that time our property taxes have gone from 2 weeks of income to over 2 months of income and it's mainly from school tax. Yes, same house and same job.
Every single time an illegal enters the U.S., Ma and Pa tax payer get kicked in the teeth and literally robbed.....They obey all laws and pay their taxes to support this or else! No joke...
I don't know why the government just doesn't start strafing us and loot what's left....

The number for NC is grossly understated. They’re saying 325,000 when a widely published estimate form 2005 estimated 800,000. Out of a state total population of a little over 9.3 million. That’s pushing 9%.
True, and I realize many of these illegals probably work on farms that I assume grow crops year-round?
We get migrant farm workers here in Connecticut in the spring, summer and early fall - that I'm pretty sure are illegal - during the growing season... lots of tobacco (and other) crops here. It's damn scary to go into grocery stores at lunchtime that are located near the tobacco fields during the growing season here.
Illegals should feel at home in every state in the union. With the federals not enforcing immigration law, the current day illegal does not live in fear of the midnight knock on the door. Arizona is the only state that has tried to go it alone on this immigration mess without much success.

Of course... I know Florida well enough by now to know it is a very agricultural state! Illegal "migrant" farm workers... of course.
