Dear FReepers,

We need your help to keep this FReepathon moving. Now into the second month of the fundraiser and we're catching up, but still lagging behind the pace. Hopefully it'll keep going strong so we can complete it in the next few weeks.

I hope its that simple. We’ll see tomorrow. I did hear a slight spinning type of sound when I last tried to start it and it died. Then, nothing, not a thing at all. Really most sincerely dead.

As much electrical power as the new stuff draws, the battery won't last long with the alternator out or a broken belt going to it, especially if using headlights.
The little red warning light doesn't always warn you to boot, hate the little red warning lights, like gauges.

There’s gauges. Its a 2000 Ford Explorer, rides nice and I like it a lot even though it is a gas guzzler.

Only had the starter go out on the old 1998 Dodge Ram, desperately looking for wood to knock on now.
