It's easy to understand why the mainstream media ran with the heart wrenching story about Notre Dame football player Manti Te'o's "dead girlfriend" as well as the other conflicting stories about the couple's "relationship" without engaging in actual journalism.
The story happened to fit within the approved media template and didn't require any further manufacturing.
But with President Obama, the MSM must work overtime to positively spin everything he says or does before it is passed on to the public as objective "news."
It finally took a member of the new media -- Deadspin -- to do some actual investigative reporting on the Te'o story.

When will the American people wake up to the incredible hoax that is currently being perpetrated upon them? Much like Te'o, Americans are involved in an emotional relationship with an individual despite most having never met him face to face. That individual is President Obama.
But unlike Te'o's relatively harmless "girlfriend" hoax, President Obama's hoax, thanks to the help of the MSM, is a threat to every American and threatens the survival of the republic as we know it.
Fortunately, the new media is willing to step up and do the job the ideologically driven MSM refuses to do.

“Obama” is a media creation: black, liberal, secular, anti - military, anti-America and just as Biden said “clean and articulate”. Getting him elected was supposed to be the crowning achievement of activist journalism. They bought their own story line. They know he’s an idiot but he has to appear successful. No matter that the last president to have a successful second term was George Washington. America will learn the truth but only by experience and over time - maybe a couple of generations.
And it worked!
Unfortunately, there are many who know these things but refuse to go against him as they are more interested in short-term personal gratification via food stamps, cellphones, or whatever.
It will be very destructive when the freebies dry up, which has to happen eventually. One cannot escape the inevitable result when it does.
At that point, we better have our guns ready, as those who are freeloading will try to take forcefully from the producers what government is taking from them now.
Another of the Obama “fakes” is the photo released by the WH of him”skeet shooting”...Notice the very tight “cheek weld” Obama has on the stock...When shotgunning, you don’t have near the “cheek weld” as you do with a rifle because you “point” a pattern gun as a shotgun. You “aim” a rifle.
Also, it appears that his line of sight is below the barrels
of the shotgun.....
Most of what we “know” about Obama is a hoax. The sheeple that voted for him are gonna feel pretty stupid when the truth comes out.
Sad to say but I doubt it. The dumbest people in my family are not capable of feeling stupid or being embarrassed about anything at all, ever.
Yeah...they will NOT feel stupid until they are facing starvation and begging for their lives....
Crap like the Manti Te’o’s story makes news but no word about vast unemployment and debt,only in American media.
