President Obama called on the Boy Scouts to open their ranks to homosexuals.
His response came during an interview ahead of Super Bowl XLVII. CBS News’ Scott Pelley asked the president if scouting should be open to gays.
“Yes,” the president replied. “Gays and lesbians should have access and opportunity the same way everyone else does.”
BSA national leaders are meeting this week in Dallas to discuss lifting a ‘no-gay’ ban on both members and leaders.
On Monday a group of 42 religious groups will publish a half-page ad in USA Today calling on the Scouts to resist political and economic pressures to lift the ban.
The group is taking out a major advertising buy tomorrow denouncing the Scouts’ decision to consider changing their longstanding policy prohibiting openly gay Scout leaders or Scouts.

BSA is being forced into homosexual compliance. This is no different than states forcing citizens to service homosexual activity through “homosexual marriage” law.

Yeah, I would sleep in a tent with a gay scoutmaster before I slept with Michelle.
I think obama wants to be a scoutmaster. That way he gets his 72 virgins early.
Please be courteous, and give them many reasons why they do not wish to reconsider their long-held policy.

This is so disgusting. Obama has no morals, no integrity, no sense of; just no sense, none.
If that’s the case, then these organizations should welcome all other types of perversions. It’s only fair that they be EQUALLY burdened.

What would Obama know about being trustworthy?
A homosexual man or adolescent in a position of leadership in this organization is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and cannot be trusted, and thereby cannot fulfill the Law, and therefore has no legitimate reason to be there.
My post on this topic yesterday seemed to express things well for several people, so I’ll include it here again:
“Eagle Scout, Order of the Arrow; my father was too, and he was also a scoutmaster. I worked six summers on the staff of a large scout camp complex when young, and I saw firsthand, and repeatedly, the traumatic pederasty that homosexual predators perpetrated upon innocent boys and young men. As a mental health professional now for a quarter century, I see the lasting aftermath of such abuses as well.
“I wrote to these spineless clowns at the BSA the other day and told them so, although I am not so naive as to think it will have an impact on their decision. People drawn to positions of power within such organizations are, as we have seen repeatedly, highly susceptible to the tactics used in The Long March Through the Institutions pushed by the Marxists who seek to undermine this nation.
“The simple, and yet complete, answer, BTW, for anyone wondering why homosexuals would be motivated to become adult or older peer leaders in the Scouts - besides the general Leftist wish to corrupt every last bastion of previously conservative cultural authority - is summed up in Willie Sutton’s famous reason for robbing banks, or in the simple concept of a “target-rich environment”. It’s never any more complicated than that.”
In a way, the boy scouts made it his business by declaring that the POTUS is the titular head of the boy scouts.
