I think that remains to be seen.Marco has said all along that no border security no bill. He has yet to change that mantra.Until I see otherwise, I’m supporting him.

Sorry, my comment was poorly written. People are using the comment, “What Difference Does it Make?” in “funny” ways. (My pwn mother even used in response to a question I had.) What Hillary said with that comment is evil. She is saying noone really needs to be held accountable for what happened. The lives of those lost or those injured don’t deserve people held to account for their lack of action or for improper actions.

Just last week there was a story about the feds being ordered to dismantle the southern security network. The strong of aerostat balloons that provide real time scanning and coverage of the border from Brownsville to San Diego.
Our southern border is, in part, protected by the Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS), which utilizes moored balloons hovering at about 15,000 feet to identify low flying aircraft and missiles that may penetrate the border and cross into U.S. airspace.
The system is utilized by the U.S. Air Force, North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), and U.S. Customs and Border Protection for a number of missions including detection of drug smuggling and preservation of the air sovereignty of the continental United States.
According to Exelis Systems Corporation, the company that built and jointly maintains TARS with the U.S. Air Force, the government has ordered a complete shutdown of Aerostat flight operations:

With China actively and openly deploying Russian-made low altitude strategic bombers, designing EMP weapons capable of disabling the country’s power grid infrastructure, and establishing economic zones within the United States, it’s difficult to imagine the motivation behind the move to further weaken U.S. air defenses on the southern border.
If September 11, 2001 was any indication of our air defense capabilities, and considering that any ground invasion of the United States would originate on our southern border, then wouldn’t we want as many early warning systems as possible to be actively protecting our country in these specific areas?
The U.S. government has chosen to shutdown this outward facing surveillance system, and has instead turned the surveillance inward, on the American people.
Since Feinstein's bill outlaws anything and everything up to and including "the shoulder thing that goes up", it's more a liberal's opium dream.

In addition, I am requesting that Homeland Security aid local law enforcement in the collection of these same types of weapons from the people that own them. The safety of our children can not and will not be hindered by antiquated and time wasting debates about the 2nd Amendment and the Constitution.”

We have one of these balloons down here. We call it Fat Albert.

This is a very nice springboard for Mark Kelly as he uses his wife to break into politics.
Apparently when he resigned from NASA he was asked if he’d be getting into politics maybe to run for Kyl’s seat (Flake has it now) or something else in AZ. He said he wasn’t looking at running for anything, but he didn’t rule it out.
Nothing was mentioned about this being due to sequestration.
And quite frankly I doubt it’s related.
It’s just another bit of appeasement for the open borders crowd...just like stopping construction of the border fence was.

I don’t know what Wallace’s aspirations are, but his performance in the one clip I saw was quite poor. I DO give him credit for addressing the debate over gun control. Most of the others are barely addressing anything to do with gun control.

Reading some comments on another thread reminded me of something on MTPress, amnesty debate.
Ralph Reed was on MTP pushing for the latest amnesty plan in the Senate. Ralph Reed??? It seems that all the politicians, all the political strategists, everyone in the ruling class all agree that we need more illegals, need to give unearned citizenship to the current illegals, need to give away more unearned freebies because they think it will help them “politically” (or get more votes)
In the real world where real people (the legal types) live, get jobs, pay their bills, etc,.....those people do not agree. Real world people are tired of supporting illegals and do not want more.
Wallace can use today’s interview of Gabby’s husband as his audition tape. He would certainly fit in with any of the other “news” channels.
Also, from the transcript, Capt Kelly said:

I did not hear him say Kuwait. He said Iraq and Afghanistan. So Fox “amends” their transcripts. How interesting! The reason I looked this up was because I was wondering what kind of service he was providing in A’stan if he was in the Space Program at the same time. So I’m sure that he must have ‘misspoken’ and Fox accommodated him on a ‘correction.’ Ethical?
