I’d expect a little more evidence of recoil, especially where his cheek is resting on the gun stock.
Why is there gas coming out the side?
The gun appears to be out of focus, but he’s not. Mmmm. Also aiming low for skeet. Could be shooting trap, but he doesn’t know the difference. OK - maybe the whole thing is fake.
Last I heard - under copyright law - political satire is considered a “Fair Use” so the WhiteHouse exhortation is pretty much moot!

How hard is it to photoshop in smoke? Smoke and mirrors should be the title of that picture.

Well, anything bigger than that and Obama would look like Ned Neiderlander in that scene from “Three Amigos”.
This picture was taken by the WH Photographer, therefore, it belongs to the People!

The butt isn’t even pressed in against his shoulder. There’s no recoil whatsoever.
They love playing this game. We’re being ruled ruled by children.
Definitely not leaning into the shot. Not sure I would have the stock up that high on MY shoulder.
REM: I am not a shotgun guy, so I gotta ask. Why is it venting gas prior to the tip of the barrel, and why does the muzzle have a ‘brass’ tip, and why does the tube(?) go all the way to the end of the barrel? (is it an over/under twice barrel gun?
Lastly, for grins, I copied the firearm image in the original photo and pasted it back in, rotated 90 degrees (vertical IOW) and that sucker would essentially reach from the top of his head to his knees. Again, I am not a skeet/trap/shotgun guy, so that long of a gun may be de riguer. Just seems REALLY big for him.
With the stock in front of most of his face, the glasses covering his eyes, and the hearing protection covering his ears, how do we know this is not his “stunt double”?
Exactly, as well as the fact it is created by the government makes it public domain.

It’s probably a ported barrel.
Little holes drilled in it so that some of the gas, and force, is expended on a different plane than the rest. It helps to manage recoil and pushes the barrel down (back on target) rather than back (into the shooter).
The smoke appears real.
