This morning, the White House released a photo of President Obama shooting a gun:

It’s presumably ported. I’ve seen them before. It serves to reduce recoil, but only slightly.

What is the discharge to his right from the barrel? Are they porting shotguns now to reduce recoil? That's probably a last minute customization they did for a limp wristed president who never shoots guns, but needed to make a photo in a hurry.

Given how he is holding it, I’d load that up with some 3 in 00 buck magnum loads and watch his shoulder and cheek take the brunt of a ton of recoil, probably knocking his specs off and knocking him on his ass.

That weapon appears to be too high on his shoulder.
His aim for skeet is far too low.
What exactly is the “smoke” coming out of the top of the barrel? It’s too far back to be of consequence for stopping barrel jump.
What’s with all the smoke. He would have had to fire a lot of rounds to produce that much.

What’s with all the smoke. That was going to be my second question. I think they don't want people Photoshopping this because it already has been Photoshopped. I also agree with you on the butt against his shoulder. That isn't the way someone who "shoots all the time" would hold that shotgun. IMHO.
