Every patriot should turn off their TV during half-time. This was never meant to be a political event. We are sick of politics and politicians.

Not going to be a problem for me. It’s been decades since I watched a Super Bowl half time show.

I haven’t watched a halftime show in years. The sound tends to be bad anyway, diminishing the performance. But what REALLY diminishes it is when MTV runs the show and they pull off stunts like the Janet Jackson - Justin Timberlake bared-boob debacle.

Yep, seems like there are an awfull lot of people using the media spotlight of a superbowl to shine a light on their own agendas; gay rights and gun confiscation being the current front runners. The media is the message. Pity, I just like to watch football, haven't found the halfwit shows for a long time worth watching.

We always put on Hendrix playing National Anthem @ Woodstock during halftime because of all the crappy entertainment, no difference this year (no offense to the kids either).
