Ramadan is a Palestinian Authority Arab who was born in Kuwait and immigrated to Washington Heights with his family, including seven siblings, as a kid and quickly assimilated, the report said.
He is, among other things, the president of the board of directors of the New York Chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), which has a long history of anti-Israel rhetoric, accusing the Jewish state of perpetrating genocide and of being a terrorist state.

If Ramadan was born in Kuwait, he is NOT a Palestinian Authority Arab. He is a Kuwaiti of Arab/Israeli heritage (many Israelis are Arabs. There was no Palestine to be from. Never, in modern history and only as a Roman province 2000 years ago or a League of Nations mandated territory known as British Palestine, which included a lot more land than just Israel and the West Bank, parts of Syria, Jordan, etc.).
His parents might claim to be from what is now called the Palestinian Arab Authority but since they lived in Kuwait and at least Ramadan (if not his parents) are US citizens, they are not under any kind of Palestinian Authority authority or citizenship.
Have to watch how words are mistakenly used, even by the good guys.
This is upper Manhattan. It is largely Black and Hispanic.
CAIR is an islamist enemy organization.
