A mother was forced to stand at a police cordon and watch as her 16-year-old son bled to death after he was stabbed to death with "swords" in a busy central London street.
The boy, who has not been named, was heard screaming for his life as he was attacked in Lupus street, Pimlico, shortly before 7pm yesterday, eyewitnesses have claimed. He was rushed to hospital where he died from his wounds, becoming the first teenager to be killed in London this year.
Scotland Yard have launched a murder inquiry and said that they are keeping an “open mind” on the motive for the attack.
Witnesses told the Evening Standard that teenager’s mother ran up to the police cordon as paramedics tried to save him.
Steve Russell, 46, a project manager, He said: “She was screaming with grief and shouting her son’s name but they wouldn’t let her through.”

I know people think that this is unbelieveably cruel but it the right thing to do.
Allowing the mother to be with her dying son would distract or get in the way of the EMTs doing their job trying to save his life.
There are also way too many instances where distraught relatives assault EMTs who are trying to save a life.
Or at least knife and sword registration, NOW.
As a matter of fact, when will the US take back Dearborn, MI?
Oh those wacky headline writers/editors! They make it sound like screaming while being slashed/stabbed to death is unusual!
every home will need to be evaluated to see if there are any hard, sharp or pointy objects, hammers, tools, chemicals, even shoe strings. The world is becoming a giant psych ward, and everyone must have padded homes. (/sarcasm)

I don’t think it will. I don’t think it is able to, given the Beast on the Potomac’s ideological death wish.
The problems in the area have become so bad that the estate has received a lottery grant to improve the area and is taking part in a pilot scheme to give local residents a greater say on improvements.
Yes I am sure that the reason they problems with gangs and crime is because the residents don’t feel empowered about what color their toilets will be if they are getting new bathroom fixtures.
The Leftist loonies always think that crime is about being poor and disenfranchised in some way.
