Focus on mental health issues but they won’t because the constitution can be shredded faster if they focus on destroying the 2nd amendment with nonsense like calling guns “assault weapons” which is like calling cars “assault cars”. I mean you will never ever in a million years hear a liberal call a gun a “defense weapon” so let’s all call them “assault weapons” so people buy into this BS like they buy into the global warming - oh excuse me, I mean the “climate change” hoax.

Maybe have the death penalty actually mean just that as it was a deterrent?
And then let us defend ourselves instead of dialing 911 and hoping they aren’t on a donut and coffee break on the far side of town?
And even worse, why didn't Mrs. Giffords testify to this instead of her husband ?
1) Rank all zip codes by murders per capita.
2) Implement a zero tolerance stop and frisk program in all zip codes that have more than 2.5 times the national average of murders per capita.
3) Enforce mandatory prison terms for those caught in these zip codes with an illegal weapon.
4) Eliminate gun free killing zones (any area where guns are not allowed AND there are no official armed guards to protect the public).
5) Mandate every state allow concealed carry using laws similar to what Texas has on the books.
