Mark Levin: Obama Not Destroying GOP, Republican Establishment Is
Real Clear Politics ^ | January 29, 2013 | Mark Levin and Sean Hannity

MARK LEVIN: Is Obama destroying the Republican Party? No, the Republican establishment is destroying the Republican Party. The only reason they’re in the majority in the House is because of conservatives — conservatives across the country, the grassroots. They lost the Senate. They like to point to two races, one in Missouri and one in Indiana. I can point to ten races where there were liberal-to-moderate Republicans who lost, and of course they never mention that.

The fact of the matter is, from my opinion, I’m not trying to project it on to you. Until the Republican leadership that has brought us McCain and Romney, that has a feckless RNC, a preposterously incompetent get-out-the-vote operation, is removed and replaced, with fresh, smart, confident, knowledgeable people, until some of our backbenchers move to the front, some of the young Tea Party conservative candidates who can articulate our vision and our principles, this is going to continue.

Obama may want to destroy the Republican Party, but the Republican Party is imploding. And, you know what, it needs to be cleansed. It needs to be cleaned out. Not for purity reasons, not for absolutism, but because it needs to be a party that stands for something. Can you tell me what the Republican Party stands for today?

SEAN HANNITY: I can tell you what they should stand for. I can tell you what the opening is, but that’s it. I could tell you that it’s frustrating sitting back here and not hearing them articulate the vision that you and I both know would save the country. Where is the party of limited government? Where is the party of freedom? Where is the party of balanced budgets? Where is the party to stop generational theft? I say these things, I listen to these pundits...

If you take a look at the Republican presidential vote over the last three elections you'll observe "W" got 64 million votes. McCain got 59 million votes +, and Romney got about 60 million votes.

So, tell me, who stayed home in McCain's case? Then, tell me, how did Romney get just about the same number of votes as McCain if Conservatives stayed home?

The big drop off was from "W" to McCain. That's where we lost the Colon Pow vote ~ and they weren't all black guys ~ they were who they were ~ and that's the crowd who walked out on Barry Goldwater!@ They walked out again and voted for Obamagoober in 2008.

This, BTW, is how cohesive factions slip from one major coalition party to another. We just lost a whole big bunch of non-professional GOP-e types in the McCain vote. They solidified their adherence to Democrat treachery and treason in the 2008 vote. They ain't comin' back.

This is one of the major reasons why Romney, who was depending on GOP-e foot soldiers, ended up without foot soldiers for his campaign ~ whenever it was supposed to begin.

That 4 million voter loss from "W" to McCain to Romney was about 6.25% of our expected fieldable voting strength. I've been estimating the GOP-e as, at most, 15% of Republican numbers, but this experience strongly suggests we've lost nearly half of them already and only have 8.75% more and we will be rid of them.

I'd guess about now they are starting to demand a seat at the table from the unions ~ whoops, I mean the DNC!!!

Hidden in the quantum noise we may have picked up 4 million black voters. Notice that Obama's numbers dropped from 2008 to 2012 ~ they went somewhere. Let's say that's black voters fed up with this posseur's BS and they slipped back over to the Republican column like they did before 1964 ~ JFK only got 75% of the black vote BTW ~ we got the others.

So they lied in exit interviews, but black voters could have easily protested the Obama failure to come to grip with their problems.

If Romney actually got those 4 million voters, we may well have lost all the other Rockefeller Republicans to the Democrats, so then we don't need to worry about them, and the lingering group of professional GOP-e's simply have no voting strength behind them!

That 4 million black vote would be a full 25% of black voting strength ~ and in critical areas. Maybe as the others figure out we have redistricted to give black people more guaranteed black Congressmen and members of state legislatures, we can pick them up and move back to the pre-Roosevelt 45% to 60% black voting strength that was historically ours.

The Democrats will be slow to recognize that their enticement of the hispanics to their banner has driven away the blacks.

“I said to him, “Your troops are most of them old, decayed serving men and tapsters and such kind of fellows. …You must get men of a spirit that are likely to go as far as they[10] will go, or you will be beaten still.” It may not be easy to find these men. They can be found only by trial and by ruthlessly discarding all who fail and have their failings discovered. We are fighting to-day for our life, for our liberty, for our all; we cannot go on being led as we are. I have quoted certain words of Oliver Cromwell. I will quote certain other words. I do it with great reluctance, because I am speaking of those who are old friends and associates of mine, but they are words which, I think, are applicable to the present situation. This is what Cromwell said to the Long Parliament when he thought it was no longer fit to conduct the affairs of the nation: “You have sat too long here for any good you have been doing. Depart, I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go”

- Leo Amery, speaking in the debate that resulted in Chamberlain’s replacement by Churchill in 1940.

The Republicans will be beaten still, until there are leaders who intend to stand for something (and something other than pork, trying to out-Democrat the Democrats, and be all things to all people while simultaneously being nothing) and are willing to fight- putting principle foremost, and willing to denounce their enemies as exactly that- enemies.

Name me one principle that the GOPe will fight and die for. Immigration, abortion, gay marriage, gun rights, the debt, taxes, social security reform, tax reform, healthcare.
The difference is that the GOPe will not stand up for any thing anymore, but these libtards will fight to the death for any of these issues.

Until the party decides to stand for something, Anything? they only stand for trying to win elections. Rubio sold his soul to McBlame and and Lindsey for what. Border security first. Think this bunch of idiots on the left will wait 10 years to secure the border? Once they get the shadow people out in the sunlight, this Country will never secure another inch of the border. Its 1986 all over again, and McLame will get to vote for another Immigration reform bill.

The photo means nothing. Your smear effort speaks more about your lack of understanding of the world than it does about Newt

Simpler answer.

Conservatives have left the republican party in 2008 with the nomination of McCain.

They ain’t coming back. That’s the crucial 6, 7 percent of the party that determines which way the wind goes. They pull their support - the republicans lose - they come in and turn out, Republicans win. Same as it always was.

Nominate a conservative and we’ll be wondering “why was this so hard?”

Just for your information.......might want to read what Levin said about Newt

Republicans must remember that Gingrich was the first GOP speaker of the House in almost 50 years, Levin said. “He was fighting Democrats to win the House of Representatives before most of the people trashing him on the Internet were old enough to wipe themselves ... before most of the commentators on TV were switching from Democrats to Republicans.”

It’s OK to criticize Gingrich, Levin said. “But don’t count me among those who are going to destroy the man,” he continued. “You can disagree with the man on substance, but don’t turn him into some Marxist, Reagan-hating mental case, because he’s not.”

Levin is particularly angry with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, an aggressive Romney supporter. “I was appalled when the two-year governor of New Jersey, who has done absolutely zero for the conservative movement, gets on TV and regurgitates all the ethical bull crap thrown at Newt Gingrich when he was speaker of the House.”

Levin gets it....but the GOP doesn’t...or they just don’t care. I swear they’re in bed with the communist takeover.

The Ruling Party.

The simpler answer is the wrong answer. The leftwingtards ~ the countryclubbers ~ abandoned the party after W. They've got a long history of doing that ~ goes way back into the 1800s. It's the moral folks, the Abolitionists and their successors, who stick through the party and vote out of their sense of patriotism ~ something you cannot ever expect of the GOP-e.

There's your answer ~ the godless, soulless, atheist, homosexualist, double-dealer, kneejerk, robotlike, kneejerk crowd who imagine they run the Republican party ABANDONED IT

BTW, in 2006 we saw a mid-term where it seemed the Republican party had been overrun by and taken over by homosexuals and pedophiles. We lost 26 million voters from the total we'd had in the previous presidential race.

That was the greatest mid-term defection in history ~ most analysts have used that as an upper limit to the Conservative vote assuming all Conservatives chose that as an opportunity to show displeasure. Actually, that was just the hard-core Christian vote who concern themselves with such matters in politics ~ there are about 17 million of thems. The other 9 million were simply voters who prefer to not vote in anything but the presidential race.

The fall off from W to McCain is no where near the 17 million hard core serious minded Christian numbers ~ it's just 4 million. That's the Republican left.

What does the GOP stand for? Tax cuts? That’s the only thing they have pushed for decades. On every other issue they have caved and bowed to leftist demands. No principles=no support.

The new conservatives like Rubio and Cruz better watch it. Especially Rubio, the crosshairs are on him now. Notice how he is the early favorite for 2016. The RINOs and Commies have made a backroom pact to triangulate him and take him out by pushing immigration. They know Rubio will cave and support amnesty in the end and his viability will be gone.
If he doesn’t cooperate the RINOs will work with the Commies to paint Rubio as an extremist so much that he loses his next reelection bid. And that’s how the game works. Destroy the nationalist conservative opposition so we the Democans can maintain our power hold on the status quo.

Newt needs to gracefully recede from the stage a la Dick Cheney.

He’s too erratic to be an effective conservative spokesman.

IMO.

As a reminder......Newt Gingrich was the ONLY primary candidate to get a standing ovation during the debates, which unfortunately brought the GOP GHOULS out to assist Romney in a sleazy campaign. Newt Gingrich is the most articulate conservative politician in America. Newt Gingrich is far from erratic, it just takes an intelligent person to keep up with him.

I fear you are right. The Party won the House because of the Tea Party movement. Instead of embracing these newcomers, the part chieftains fought to keep them from leading positions. They had their lineup for 2012, and even to win, they were not going to accept a conservative candidate.

We have a winner, exactly. Time for a real party that has conservative values in mind, not guys like Rubio who are so easily fooled by McBlAME. Honestly as Rubio cries foul today, why would anyone think that the dems would agree to wait until the border is secure before placing the shadow people in the short line? The only people in the shadows are fair skinned red haired folks who cannot be in the sun. I saw 25 shadow people building 2 houses today and you can bet they were not doing it for $3.00/hr. Time to call these idiots on their bluff.
