There are now 20 women in the U.S. Senate (21 if you include Lindsey Graham).
There was a time when I would have vehemently opposed the idea that giving women the vote was a mistake. Now, as a white haired old man I begin to realize just how wise the founders were. Those who imagine that simply because modern men have access to knowledge that was unknown to any in 1776 modern men are of greater wisdom than the founding fathers are woefully misled.
I am convinced that there are INDIVIDUAL women in America who have the potential of being a very good or even a great president. I am EQUALLY convinced that women in GENERAL should not vote to elect a president.
Well, now, I have put up one of those things myself. As a boy at my mother’s request and as a man at my wife’s request. I have also split a lot of wood with a nine pound maul, I suppose all in all I would prefer to have my picture taken swinging the maul.
Ive hung plenty myself, but yes, I’d prefer to see the POTUS swinging the maul also. Problem is, this POTUS probably doesn’t even know what a maul is much less how to use it.
