The Boy Scouts of America is considering dropping a longtime ban on gay members, according to a spokesman.
“The BSA is discussing potentially removing the national membership restriction regarding sexual orientation,'' spokesman Deron Smith said in a statement obtained by FoxNews.com. "This would mean there would no longer be any national policy regarding sexual orientation, but that the chartered organizations that oversee and deliver Scouting would accept membership and select leaders consistent with their organization’s mission, principles or religious beliefs."
My little tiger will be yanked out for sure.
While in my first year of law school, we studied several cases involving Scout leaders who had molested boys, with the Scouting organization ultimately losing lots of money. Trial lawyers are probably salivating as much as open homosexuals. God help the Scout leadership to not allow this insane idea to gain any ground.
Last year, some foundation for a company...Merck, I think, said it wasn’t going to fund Boy Scouts anymore.
I sent the BSA some money in support.
They had better hold fast.

To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and MORALLY STRAIGHT.
I wouldn't be surprised if they don't already have a "community organizing" badge.
Why are these two homo peddlers still on the board of directors? They are the ones pushing this perversion.
Every time I hear that at my Son's Scout meetings, I quietly think to myself, just how much longer they'll keep the "Morally Straight" part in there? Once fags are in, you know that will be one of the first things they'll whine about.
Or at least an Interior Decorating badge.
Yes but he was supported by the show host who wondered why it mattered who was on the board of directors. Fortunately other callers saw my side (and eventually swayed the host). The point put forward was that organizations need to be careful of the people they put into positions of power. It’s not all about money.
So what do they intend to do with pedophiles? Oh, that’s right, acccept them as the “adult” supervisors. What will they do with 14 year old homosexuals at camp? Oh, that’s right, accept that behavior as “normal”.
I’ve gone as an Adult Leader on almost all of my son’s camping trips, the good news is that at least in our troops all of the adult leaders have sons in the troop.

Might I add that instead of the Boyfriends of Scouts, parents look at more professionally minded organizations such as the Civil Air Patrol. Much more going on in CAP anyway.
And aint this a damned shame, too? I was in the Boy Scouts, and would have loved to give back.
But, because I never had children, I knew my motives would be questioned, and I would be looked at oddly, so I stayed away.
Damned shame. Purest intentions; cannot partipate.
Ditto. I have no grandchildren yet. If this travesty is in place when they come of age for Scouts, I will lobby against any involvement.
One of nieces was a member of CAP and loved it. It taught her many valuable things.

Well ... well ... Well. Excellent point. Why doesnt someone file a suit and express outrage that a male can’t lead and camp out with little girls? Perhaps in a prominent dem Senator’s district. Why doesnt some man sue that they are outraged they cant marry a 9 year old girl in the National Cathedral? Or a man marry two boys? Show these people where these stunts are going and how stupid they are.
There they go again; the “progressives” are attempting to turn back the clock...this time to Sodom and Gomorrah.
In related news: The BSA has just hired Jerry Sandusky as their spokes”man”.
