Just putting it out there that I am looking for 10 round Mini 14 magazines in .223. I have to own them before April 15 and most outlets are sold out. If anyone can manage to part with one, please msg me. I am willing to pay premium $ so you can replace it at Ruger with a factory mag...they are filing orders on backorder, but I am worried they will not be available in time. Thanks.

I just ordered new peepers for the 5.45x39 vepr.
That’s a really cool optic. Looks like a rock solid mount too.
I was going to do a vortex strykfire, but with the mount it would have been more $ and this scope is 1 MOA, plus it is Russian (Belarus).

It’s a Truglo reflex site. Paid nearly $300 for it a few years ago. You can get them for less than $200 now, but there are a lot of other options out there too.

Has it been pretty reliable? I did read some reviews on the 991 and they were all good. I didn’t find a negative review, but I really didn’t look that hard.

It's more accurate than my Single Six, probably because it doesn't have to do double with a 22lr. The DA trigger is horrible, but in SA it's as good as my Smiths. It has been completely reliable, but 22wmr is pretty dirty out of a handgun. You'll have to clean it after a 100 rounds or so.
I had a gunsmith drill my top strap, then I put a Weaver mount on it for optics. This is my only Taurus and I really like it. I've had it about 10 years.
I really enjoy it.
Mine is used in like 99% excellent condition.
It’s an older one from the early 80’s.
I was at HEB today for groceries. It looks like they’ve pulled all the gun magazines from the magazine rack. I use to look at those when I was in there.

Thought of you yesterday when I cleaned my safe out to get rid of all my excess ammo to sell(didn’t realize I had accumulated so much over the years). Anyway I sold most of my guns that uses the stuff.
Came across a 10 rd mag for the CZ75B and have no gun to use it in. If you want it I can send it to you and if you can use it just drop me a 10 spot in the mail. It doesn’t even look like it’s been used.
OT, got an ad coming out next week for the ammo, can’t mention the quantity as this would raise some eyebrows. Got .22 .40S&W .45ACP 9mm and 762x39. Must be a half ton of it all.

Even though mine had never had a round go through it, I couldn’t resist any longer. It sat in the safe for two years until last Sunday. My grandson, son and I put several hundred rounds at the side of the hill in the back of our property. What a sweet shooter it is.

My FFL dealer has a bunch of 7.62x39 (Tula and Hot Shot)

Also stopped at the NRA booth and bought a ticket for their drawing. The winner gets all three of... Diamondback 9mm pistol, a nice Mossberg 12 gauge that had a separate pistol grip you could install, and a Thompson A1 45 ACP complete with stick mag, drum mag, standard case, and a violin case.

You keep ammo in the safe where you keep your guns? Where if you were surprised in a hold up, forced you to open it and load and shoot you with your own weapons? Just a possibility.
I keep my ammo in the garage where I can say I don’t have any in the house and would have to go outside to get it leaving me a way to escape or at least one less person to deal with. IMHO
