Or to parse it again, was Hillary saying there was no live feed to her location? Because as I understand, the drone feed plus there may have been other security camera’s on the ground providing live surveillance.

I think Ryan thinks he is doing what is best for this country. I believe he is an honorable man. I think he is dead wrong on amnesty.

They are too insulated from reality in DC, I guess. They need to be reminded of Conservative core principles and values, one of which is respect for the Rule of Law.

Why would you reward someone for breaking the law and putting the US in a more economically fragile position as illegals have done?

Why are they so deaf, so nieve, about amnesty/immigration reform, etc.? Have they no common sense? Have the pollsters convinced them it will work? (the same pollsters who had the election predictions so wrong?) Why don't they focus on communicating the message/outreach without destroying themselves as a party? When I heard Ryan sign up for this, this am, my heart just hurt for America.

Political correctness and political consultants. They believe the American public can't handle the truth and they worry about their personal political futures. Both parties have been kicking the can down the road re our dire fiscal condition. They can't figure out how to dismount from the fiscal tiger. And both parties like big spending and big government. It is all about power and inflence. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. No one wants to scale back the welfare state.

but Ryan should not be the poster-boy right now.

Ryan is part of the Establishment.

-- It had to be a humongously large planet; if it were a sun, everything would have been burned up. But, if it were a planet, what provided the light, heat, etc.? --

Not large, but massive. The notion of time didn't exist before the big bang, because there was nothing. Not even space. That's hard to wrap your brain around (no space), but that's what the physics says.

The bang itself was so hot that matter could not exist (energy has mass, so there was a massive amount of energy, and it was very dense, not spread out). at some point after the bang, things cooled down enough that matter could exist.

-- Also, why are all the planets, moons and stars spherical? Asteroids and commets aren't. --

Generally, it's a function of their size. More massive objects, and more "fluid" objects will appear closer to spherical, in part because the deviations from spherical are a small fraction in a large object. A 30,000 foot mountain on a 8,000 mile diameter sphere doesn't much change the impression of spherical. That same 30,000 foot difference in elevation would be big on a 20 mile diameter object - and as the 20 mile diameter object has very weak gravity, not much will or can operate to erode the high spot down to a sphere.

I think it's a moon of Mars that shows a big deviation from spherical, on account of an asteroid strike.

If it gets more votes and power the Left will argue that baboons are the same as chimpanzees and their MSM will call dissenters baboons.

The Left "proves" fallacies on a daily basis through their well practiced mendacity's. And since the MSM never calls them on it they are not lying...at least as far as the benighted LOVs are concerned and they comprise the majority which mean they comprise the reality...at least until the fail safe 2nd Amendment is finally activated to reinstate the constitutional rule of law...FOR WHICH IT WAS INTENDED.

This is simply a call for citizens to demand that politicians and federal workers be banned from owning guns. Cite democide to support your case.

I don't see any bi-partisan effort actually happening on amnesty.

Amnesty illegal immigration is a great issue for the left! They win if we do cave and win if we don't.

How we get sucked into these things time after time when we have a debt of 16 trillion caused by the left is beyond me!

our side is pretty strong on securing the border first and unless we are wiling to believe that the obamba adm. will actually do that, which they never would in a million years, why would we ever agree to anything they want at all.

What they want is winning elections forever with more LIV voters that they can easily buy with our money. That's what it is all about. In the end they will get what obama wants even if he has to do it by EO which is what he probably has planned anyway.

So, if I read that right, without spending too much time baking my brain, it goes like this:

Nothing existed, but it exploded. The explosion was so hot that nothing existed. But when nothing cooled, stuff formed and we got the universe(s).

Ooooooooooooooooookay.

The biggest problem with women in combat is that they become huge targets for terrorists.

We will spend an inordinate amount of men, money and machines just to protect them from ever being captured. That's just who we are. As men we would never ever take a chance on any of our women being captured by terrorists.

We already know what they do to gays. No telling what they would do to women.

All this Just so some radical feminists can say they got yet another political victory over the right. Its all BS.

What existed was the possibility of a big bang. The idea of "before" that is nonsense, as there can't be time without some sort of motion or change.

What existed after the bang wasn't nothing, it was something. In fact, it was the entire universe. But, because this something was so hot, it didn't contain any matter. It was all energy. When the energy cooled enough, it changed from energy into matter.

Kind of like making ice from steam - both are water - but not exactly the same as energy to matter doesn't preserve the chemistry.

Everything the Democrat party does is incredibly politically based. They never stop and are political all the time. Even when we are trying do what is best for the country.they really don't care what is best for the country only what is politically best for their side.

They just let us run the country while they go after votes 24/7. They know doing the right thing is often trumped by buying votes with our money. Its what they do. And then to make it even worse the claim we are the bad guys and get the press to repeat it!

I don't see any bi-partisan effort actually happening on amnesty

An amnesty (Hagel-Martinez) passed in 2006 in the GOP controlled Senate, although Reps voted 32-23 against it. I have no doubt that an amnesty will pass in the Senate in 2013. Our only defense is the House, but I think that there may be enough Reps working with the Dems to pass it in the House--just like the fiscal cliff vote.

our side is pretty strong on securing the border first and unless we are wiling to believe that the obamba adm. will actually do that, which they never would in a million years, why would we ever agree to anything they want at all.

I am sure securing the border and enforcement of our laws will be part of the bill just like it was in the 2007 McCain-Kennedy bill. There will be phony benchmarks set just like the Secure Fence Act signed on to by Obama and Hillary. The other side is already saying our border is under control and you hear from people like George Will who puts out the false information that illegal immigration from Mexico has essentially stopped.

What they want is winning elections forever with more LIV voters that they can easily buy with our money. That's what it is all about. In the end they will get what obama wants even if he has to do it by EO which is what he probably has planned anyway.

No doubt that is the Dem strategy and it is working. Legal immigration amounts to 1.2 million annually. Two thirds at least will vote Democrat. 87% of the legal immigrants are minorities as defined by the USG. Minorities and immigrants vote overwhelmingly Democrat.

Obama already used an EO to pass a backdoor amensty--his version of the Dream Act that will legalize the status of 1.8 million. Barely a peep came from the Reps and some Reps have supported it. Obama should have been impeached for that alone.

Most of the American public have little knowledge of our current immigration policies or the impact of an amnesty. For most, it is legal immigration is good and illegal immigration is bad. The reality is that our legal immigration policies are killing this country and have been ever since the 1965 Immigration Act.

She unequivocally claimed that there was a huge misunderstanding that there was live video seen by a bunch of movers and shakers. She got everyone off the hook, talk about building political capital.... and none on our side even questioned her about it.

Now that will be the mantra, just wait and see.

I suppose I could abide a certain amount of “strategic”lying — or truth-evasion — if the well-being of the Nation is at stake (not that this was the case in Benghazi).

The SecState is almost by definition a person who plays with the truth, at best.

But I really don’t care who someone is or what their duty is: lying to next of kin is pure evil and indefensible. They all knew exactly what happened in Libya, they watched and listened to it in real-time, and they went out and told a lie that a 6th grader who hadn’t done his homework could have improved on.

It’s one thing to insult our intelligence with such garbage, but to actually tell it to someone’s loved ones who died serving the nation...

And just as appalling is a news media and an “opposition” political party that can’t bring itself to MENTION this sick lie.

If our side is demanding that the border be secured first which has always been the position and we trust the obabma regime to do that, than we are the biggest fools in the history of politics.

Once any amnesty bill is passed they will have 75 reasons why they can't secure the border and we will be screwed once again. that we don't recognize now.

It’s not just what the bad guys would and have done to females captured in combat.

It’s the fact that female bodies weren’t designed to do the heavy lifting required in combat arms MOS’s.

Then there’s the issue of hygiene. Right now female soldiers are required to come out of the field every three days for female hygiene.

How is that gonna work in an Infantry Company or Tank Platoon?

As usual they’ll do what has been done inthe past and simply lower the standards for qualification.

None of the supposed smart people in D.C. have figured out that the incidents of sexual assault and harassment have increased in conjunction with women getting pushed closer and closer to the front lines. If that weren’t the case...then the rates of assault/harassment would have gone down not up over the last 20 years given the huge amount of training we are given in a calendar year on this subject.

Exactly! We have gone over their mo here may times.

Axelrod dreams up a fairy tale.He does focus testing on it.The rich can afford to pay a little more, pubbies hate women,it was all GW's fault etc.,etc., etc. when the focus test is good he e-mails the drive by media. They print it, run it on the net,TV etc.Six months later its a real, true issue. But it stated out as an Axelrod fairy tale. We have no Axelrods, no counter to his bullsh_t.

We don't even know how to think like they do or how they think!! We are lost just trying to run the country while they pile up voters using our money and their lies.

Great stuff. We can't even tell the truth about immigration without looking biased against Latinos and the left knows it and takes advantage of it.

The truth is what you said we can not afford to take in illegals now knowing they will be a burden to the welfare system which is already so over booked, broken and abused its criminal. If the left wins on immigration perhaps our only hope for saving the country will be to reform the welfare system at every level and quickly.
