Lost in the inaugural hullabaloo was Tuesday’s news that President Obama has relieved Gen. James “Mad Dog” Mattis, the colorful and highly decorated Marine who’s been in charge of the crucial US Central Command, which oversees the various wars in the Middle East, since 2010.

We are going to need men like this when we are sucked into a REAL war, with a Real enemy and not a 3rd world basket case nation. World War III is coming and it will not be with Iran or North Korea. I see the foe as China and they will fight to the last peasant soldier —its a war we may not win. My advise—start to learn how to speak Chinese! Maybe they will give you a wee bit more rice in the camps.

Supposedly Mattis had a disagreement with National Security Adviser Tom Donilon. Seems Mattis speaks bluntly, and probably truthfully, that is something the Obama administration can’t stand.

I assume that's a rhetorical question.Osama Obama's never even *attempted* to keep his contempt for our Armed Forces a secret.Any senior officer who isn't,at the very least,willing to pretend that that contempt doesn't exist had best clear out his "desk".
I suspect he answered: “NO!!!” to Bronco’s question about firing upon American citizens.
In this case though, I have a nagging suspicion that Mattis said he would not fire on US citizens.... if ordered to do so by an out-of-control tyrant.
In researching him, I learned a lot.
Most of what was made public, was a selected quote about being fun to shoot some people.
I found this response to a youtube clip of that selection;
"Mattis is the fucking man. They forgot the rest of the qoute. As it seem Patton really was reincarnated. "You go into Afghanistan, you got guys who slap women around for five years, because they didn't wear a veil," Mattis said. "You know guys like that ain't got no manhood left anyway. So it's a hell of a lot of fun to shoot 'em."
Apparently THAT part has been scrubbed from videocumentation (I claim that word as mine ... unless someone already has it)
I really wish that these Generals would stay in service and fight these policies that they oppose. If not, they should be very vocal about their reasons for retiring when they leave the service. Many changes have happened to the armed forces that will reduce their fighting effectiveness. The two biggest changes, openly serving gays and females in combat units, have been/will be implemented without any serious public opposition. That is wrong. Our military leadership is failing us in so many ways. It makes me sick.
Yup and the destruction of our fighting force is complete. Gays and girls will be doing the fighting and God isn't welcome. We're toast and you can bet foreign rulers with dreams of domination are chomping at the bit.

BTW, anybody watch the ABC series, “The Last Resort”, which was cancelled for “low ratings”? Excellently done, if somewhat of too large a cast to keep track of. Anyway, the end of the series was indeed an ending and may have been the REAL reason for the cancellation.
If we know these guys, they will always be prepared for what is coming.
