During a city council meeting in Oak Harbor, WA a veteran who served in, Afghanistan speaks spontaneously in favor of the 2nd Amendment and causes a liberal whiner on the council to get up and leave when he is not allowed to violate his oath of office.

After Almberg's motion fails Mayor Scott Dudley gives a measured and heartfelt comment about the responsibility elected officials are supposed to take seriously.

Both the Mayor and the citizen were commendable.

The liberal councilman that left needs to be asked if he will abide by his oath of office or he can hit the road.

Both Almberg and Servatius (the seconding a-hole)need to be publicly called out on this issue. Incidentally, Almberg claims on his site that he was an Airborne officer. Based on his behavior at the meeting that claim , IMHO, sounds very specious. Has anyone asked to see his DD-214? If he can’t prove it, he really should be prosecuted under Washington’s stolen valor statute, if one exists. Almberg also posted several videos about a year ago on You Tube supporting the town’s former mayor,Jim Slowik, for re-election. Almberg’s choice was unmistakeably trounced by Mayor Scott Dudley who scored big for his constituents, his oath and the 2nd Amendment and publicly put those two penny tyrants, Almberg and Servatius, in their place. Great video!!!!

I friend of mine currently lives in a guarded gated community in Orange County, CA but that didn't prevent him from being carjacked at gunpoint six weeks ago in his own driveway.

He's been in CA for less than a year and this is the second time he's been the victim of a violent crime in which the criminal was armed with an "illegal" handgun and my friend was unable to defend himself because of stupid liberal laws. The first time he was robbed at gunpoint in his company's "restricted access" parking garage.

Fortunately his contract out there expires in a few months and he will be coming back to the Bluegrass where he belongs.
