Jeff Winston’s BS has all the odour of lefty-fication. ....self righteous, fabulously cynical, verbose and ignorantly arrogant. Yep, he’s a well disguised troll.

You just can't stand it that someone actually stands up to your conspiracy-theorist bullying, can you? rotfl.

As I said to little jeremiah, it's a badge of honor to be stalked across FR by you.

“How do you “trace” a cartridge case “back” to a magazine?”

The only possibility I see is that the magazine lips on each magazine are microscopically different, and would leave unique scratches on each case.

That would be hard to analyze. Add the complexity that sequential rounds feed from alternate sides of these magazines. And perhaps the cases were scratched from some other source somewhere in their life. So my gut is that this type of analysis is useless. (But look at the process anyhow to eliminate it.)

And then which magazines were used in what order? This would confound things further.

Why? Agree with lots of govt work and long report.

Are they really trying to match magazines to cartridge cases, or is this just a failure to correctly communicate what they are trying to match with what.

I don't know why Jim bothers banning Alex Jones and prisonplanet from his site anymore. This place is turning into a mirror image.

Yeah. I'm not really sure what the point is either.

"Some fool once said, “The earth is round!” People shot down that conclusion without even looking at the supporting premises. “Of course it isn’t,” they shouted back. “That makes no sense!” Others tried to refute the claims. “The Earth can’t be round,” they put forth. “The ground is flat. See?” But the believer pointed out that there was a slight curve to the horizon. The world wasn’t flat.

They laughed at Columbus, they laughed at Fulton, they laughed at the Wright Brothers.

But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.

Well, in an AR cases frequently get scratched by sharp edges on the barrel extension locking lugs, the edge of the ejection port, the case deflector (when present).

So figuring out which scratches are from the mag would seem to be a fool's errand.

Just looks like busy work for criminal justice majors from online universities.

Yes, and what would such a report look like:

Little J__ was hit in the ‘x’ with the first round, from the first magazine. Then the second round hit little S__ in the ‘y’ and the third round ...

And comments about how much damage each bullet did, and internal injuries, and suffering, and who (surmised) saw whom die before them, and off into emotional speculation, giving more fodder to refresh the bored audience against ARs, at some later time when needed.

Given where this happened I simply cannot trust what any official report says.

These people want guns banned period and wish to exploit it and in those areas RKBA lawmen are rare as virgins on Roman barge

juxtapose that with lawmen coming out on our side in real America..

eff Connecticut ..with all due to respect to the memory of HARPSEAL
