'The nation is watching': Sandy Hook Advisory Commission meets(Public comment email addy available)
WFSB ^

Posted on 01/25/2013 6:22:34 AM PST by matt04

Former Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter spoke at the first meeting of the Sandy Hook Advisory Commission in Hartford on Thursday and had a strong message for the panelists: The nation is watching.

Ritter was a district attorney at the time of the Columbine High School mass shooting in Littleton and was asked to speak before the Sandy Hook Advisory Commission, which was created by Gov. Dannel Malloy.

"The nation is watching and wants to understand how these tragic events continue to occur," Ritter said.

Ritter was asked to speak about what he has learned since the Columbine shooting.

"I think the Sandy Hook is an example of incident response that was different because of the Columbine incident," he said.

In fact, Connecticut learned from Columbine. Instead of negotiating with the gunman, police went into Sandy Hook Elementary School quickly to stop more violence.

"The desire for changing our policies is increasing on a daily basis not decreasing," said Gov. Dannel P. Malloy.

...

Danbury State's Attorney Stephen Sedensky III also appeared before the commission and told panelists that it will take investigators months to finish the official police report about the tragic events that took place in Newtown on Dec. 14.

Sedensky said the report could be released in June.

In addition, Sedensky said there would be no information provided in regards to the mental health history of Lanza because of privacy laws.

"It may not be something we will be able to provide given privileges that are available on mental health histories," he said.

If residents cannot attend the meeting, a website has been set up for people to submit their testimony. People can email asaferconnecticut@cga.ct.gov.

Obama needs to be Impeached:

Behaving in a Manner Grossly Incompatible with the Proper Function and Purpose of the Office

Employing the Power of the Office for an Improper Purpose or for Personal Gain

The Criminality Issue (Benghazi) “If [the President] deviates from his duty, he is responsible to his constituents.... He will be absolutely disqualified to hold any place of profit, honor, or bust, and liable to further punishment if he has committed such high crimes as are punishable at common law.”

All these have multiple and proven examples - someone in the House of Reps needs to put an investigation together and get on with it!!!

Sorry, thank you for playing.

So basically we will NEVER know the full extent of the causes of this tragedy.

Why bother.

Trying to solve a problem like this while not being allowed to discuss the primary reason for it. Amazing.

Nothing to see here, let’s move along. They have their marching orders from the Dept of Injustice and the Chi-town thug in the WH. Grab guns and whitewash the rest of it. RICO, RICO, RICO.

The barber’s story about Lanza is creepy.

The barber is creepy in it.
Lanza is creepy.
His mother is creepy.

I am going with the theory that he was possibly molested by one of the Ring of Molesting Priests in the area.

The guy that was in charge of the Diocese admitted he felt like there was nothing wrong with hiding known molesters and exposing children to them.

His former assistant and confidant was just busted as a Drug Dealing Gay Transvestite Porn Store Owner Priest.

"The desire for changing our policies is increasing on a daily basis not decreasing," said Gov. Dannel P. Malloy.

True. Democrats are violent people. Bill Ayres, Occupy anarchist, ecoterrorists, school shootings, black panthers, inner city gangs, ...the list of left wing violence groups goes on and on.

The democrats aren't afraid of what we will do with guns. They're afraid of what they will do with guns.

Instead of punishing the law abiding, peaceful members of society, why not look at the democrat base and discuss where the democrat politicians have gone wrong. It's not the guns. It's the democrats behind them.

Privacy laws don't count after the crimminal is dead. They're hiding something.

Too bad the school wasn’t.....

Uncle Chip will appear so to defend the mess that is Sandy Hook

So what is the story behind Gene Rosen claiming he called the parents and had them come get the kids to later changing the story that the Bus Driver Supervisor must have had a list and called the kids???

Gene even gets on the Spanish TV speaking Spanish and playing with the stuffed animals.

I am wondering if given some of the facts that there wasn’t a planned drill and then somehow a real incident happened.

Or for some responders it was a planned drill while for others it was a planned incident designed to overlap and cause confusion?

Privacy rules, what privacy rules, on a dead killer? If they won’t examine his frame of mind and his motivation, why bother? The American people need to know what meds he was taking and a hell of a lot about who was providing meds to him. What was his diagnosis. What similarities are ther between these serial killers who target schools?

They don’t care what we think.

They’re going to disarm us.

And they’ll all be re-elected after doing so.

...most of them were re-elected after voting for Obamacare. :)

They don't WANT the population to know - for some reason. Something stinks, and people around the country are starting to notice and ask questions.

hopefully the nation IS watching AND listening...this douchebag admits that rather than hiding under desks or behind trees, armed men help to reduce the body count...duh !!!
