Piers Morgan Accuses GOP of 'Misogyny,' 'Political Grandstanding' at Clinton Hearing
NewsBusters ^

Could Piers Morgan be any more of an Obama hack? After Republicans grilled Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over the Benghazi attacks on Wednesday, Morgan unloaded on their criticism as "political grandstanding" showing "a whisper of misogyny."

"I've been listening to the Republicans getting on their high horse about this for a long time. Now I've thought a lot of today's criticism was political grandstanding in many ways," said the CNN host who has done plenty of grandstanding of his own from his high horse on gun control.

"I'm getting a little bit weary, I'll be honest with you, with the relentless attacks first on Susan Rice and now on Hillary Clinton. There's a – a whisper of misogyny to it, I think, and it's getting pretty, I think, incestuous and very Washington-orientated rather than in the national interest of America," Morgan lamented.

And like a good White House pawn, he switched attention from Clinton to Republicans: "I think the Republicans have to remember they themselves made some pretty catastrophic errors when it came to intelligence, and I don't remember people queuing up, demanding they get fired or anyone losing their jobs over it."

Actually, Condoleezza Rice took some serious vitriol when she was Bush's nominee for Secretary of State, and as the Washington Post reported, she got "the most negative votes cast against a nominee for that post in 180 years."

Piers, you BIGOT!
How dare you suggest that Hillary be treated any different because she’s a woman!

“What difference...?”

The “difference”, Madam Secretary, is that unlike the White House, here in the Senate, the TRUTH is important.

Long after the TRUTH was known by the White House, this LIE about the video, continued to be publicly trumpeted as the basis for the attack that left 4 Americans DEAD.

So, we want to know the following:
WHO directed that the LIE continue AFTER the TRUTH was known?
What was the point of peddling that lie, 2 weeks after the TRUTH was known?
At a minimum YOU and the President KNEW it was a lie, and yet you BOTH continued to repeat it. So, WHY should anyone believe either of you from this point forward?

THAT Madame Secretary, is “THE DIFFERENCE IT MAKES”!!

Piers should stick to what he knows best — interviewing Hollywood airheads. Talk about their latest movie, their stint in rehab, their multiple sex partners and illegitimate children. But don’t talk about the news and political matters. Piers is not a hard news journalist.

He’s trying to be like Larry King. King was fine when he gushed over celebrities, but he stank when it came to hard news.

I normally try to stay out of Piers Morgan threads. He is a far left nutjob who could not make it in the U.K. The more we talk about him, the more he stays in the news, and gain attention to his lame show. So he says obnoxious and outrageous things to keep himself in the news. Liberals think he is smart because he has a Brit accent.

All the Left has is name-calling. They can NEVER address a single substantive issue.

Probably referring to when Mrs. Slick Willy Clinton was responding to Sen. Rand Paul concerning accountability and responsibility .... Mrs. Slick Willy: “Who do you think I am, Quicken Loan?”

I get the feeling ole Piers wants to go best out of 3.
Evidently 1776 and 1812 wasn’t clear enough for the wanker.

The only one grandstanding was the Drama Queen herself because she is guilty as hell and was adviced by counsel that this was her best defense, by getting the uninformed public to have sympathy for her.

They don’t want him back. Not after what he did to their troops.

I watched some of the questioning and my opinion is that the Republicans went soft on Hillary. When she got loud and belligerent, I would have put her in her place immediately. Who does she think she is!!!???? And who does she think that she works for??? Not the administration. She works for US!!!

I was thinking the same thing. I can assure you that the only time I hear his name is right here on FR.

I have watched a couple of the video’s posted here and have formed the opinion that he is a man who really believes everyone but him is stupid, and not worthy of an opinion.
