Remember all those mainstream news reports before the election about how President Obama's expansive spending plans would require massive tax hikes on everyone, not just millionaires and billionaires? Neither do we.
But somehow after the election, reporters are finally admitting that Obama's budget numbers simply don't add up and that new taxes on the middle class — including a European-style value added tax — are "inevitable."

The day after Republicans folded and sold out America’s rich, Pelosi was shouting it wasn’t enough.
It will never be enough.
New taxes will not be used to pay off the deficit, but to give more gifts to Democrat voters.
And in other news. Water is wet.
Should be good for another 200 points up on the DOW.
Actually, the hidden tax on the middle class is already in place. They call it quantitative easing. The government spends newly created money, when nothing was produced in exchange. Prices are going up, or, staying the same, when during a slow economy, some prices should be going down.
I was ordered to the grocery store on my way home (I hate shopping period)..
While standing in line I had to listen to the lady in front of me complain how the packages where getting smaller but the price was the same. She went on and on and I could tell the cashier had heard enough just as I had but could not say anything.
Finely when she stopped to take a breath I piped up “They call it inflation. It’s due to the money supply getting larger. The fed keeps printing money to pay obama’s bills” I got a smile from the cashier and the whining lady said “NO!! the boxes are NOT inflating!”
Obama voter identified....
My proof is the maggots in Washington. And the maggots that elected them.

Seems like the people didn’t take heed in that little saying.

Actually we have billions of dollars in unmet spending going straight to China.
Every day.
We have exported so many jobs, we are now running massive trade deficits and neither party is willing to say one word.
Meanwhile, China grows.
Does anyone ever remember a politician NOT lieing? My cynicism gains more support every day. So sad.
And unfortunately there are more and more of these dumb@$$es. They don’t want to educate themselves and support being mediocre and they will raise hell if anyone wants to go for better than status quo. They stick to watching just network news (ABC, NBC, cBS, CNN) and don’t question anything that is going on. And attempts to “educate” these people is like tossing pearls to swine.

LOL...but also it was reassuring to hear a grocery store cashier understand a little on economics
Obama’s budget numbers simply don’t add up,and it only took four years for the reporters to get it.
