I have for a long time been of the opinion that Israel shouldn’t bother to try to win over Europe because the Europeans have multiple reasons for always being anti-Israel and none of them have anything to do with anything that Israel does.

They - Europeans - used to hate the Jews for being The Other in their societies, or being simply different. So after WW II and their near extinction, they went off with the sabras and Sephardic Jews and founded Israel. Now they hate them for that instead!

In the 1930s a lot of Brits admired Hitler for his anti-semitism, Churchill was the “voice in the wilderness”.

The unreasonable hatred against Jews as a group of people is like a soul infection that will never be healed. It’s insanity.
