Disclaimer: I am a North Korea amateur and can only share what it's like to be part of a NK-bound delegation. Straightforward trip report here: no discussion of meeting details or intentions--just some informal observations.

Sounds like a great place for Piers Morgan to relocate.

Reminds me of the movie “Gattaca” which was surprisingly anti-progressive for something from Hollywood.

What is weirder to me is that they have been able to sustain it for years.

There are two main ingredients required:

(1) Brainwash the children until they are adults.
(2) Brainwash the adults for the rest of their life.

See, it’s easy. As a matter of fact we have brainwashing facilities right here in America. It’s the educational system and main stream media.

Epic journalism.... the fear and the anxiety and the balls.

And these guys are not even journalist. The so called college indoctrinated "journalist" would have probably done a puff piece. On top of it these guys are Canadian.

Ted Turner, communist sympathist/entrepreneur, was also allowed to visit North Korea once. I remember his words were something like "I didn't see any starving peopole, they just looked a little thin".

In America, I don't see starving people (except for the mentally deranged who are homeless drug addicts by choice). In fact, the low income families look pretty obese to me.

I just figured that at some point they should start running out of people.
