Ichabod McConnell should tell Reid to go eff himself. Let them do it; they’ll cheat anyway when it serves them. Grow some balls.

If Reid would go with the nuclear option, we have the house to still say no.
Then in 2014 we take the senate majority with Reid's new rule and Obama would be F'd!
Am I right on this?

Wow that’s gonna backfire on Bobo when the Democrats lose the Senate in 2014 ... if a Supreme needs replacement 2014-2016, the furthest Left the GOP will give Bobo is Larry Tribe, a fairly conventional Liberal douchebag Harvard insider, instead of some 9th Panel Maoist ...

The House can checkmate Reid’s commie senate by cutting off all funding for senate operations.

The words "unanimous consent" should be removed from the senate vocabulary for at least two years if Reid does this. He shouldn't be able to leave the podium to go to the restroom without debate and a recorded vote of the full senate to allow him to temporarily pass the gavel to someone else.

Boehner to Reid: Anything that comes to the House as a result of your nuclear option is DOA and will never make it to the floor.

Reid is making an effort to keep the spotlight switching to him after 4 years (no budget, became he was MIA so McConnell had to go to Biden to get a deal, etc.) so he's pulling out his weapon to keep that spotlight from shining fully.
We'll see if he can get away with it.

Someone please explain the “nuclear option.” Does this simply mean breaking the rules to make new rules?

Let them do it. They will regret it.
