Algeria hostage crisis: Most weapons used in attack came from Libya
The Daily Telegraph (UK) ^ | 20 Jan 2013 | Mélanie Matarese

Many of the Islamist terrorists shot their way into the In Amenas compound on Thursday using the AK104 model of Kalashnikov, which was typically used by Libyan rebels in the war against Muammar Gaddafi.

They brought F5 rockets that also surfaced in the Libyan war, said the security source.

The Islamists wore the same type of outfits that Qatar provided to Libyan National Transitional Council rebels by Qatar – yellow flak jackets with brown patches, known as "chocolate chip" camouflage. The garments are copies of ones worn by Americans in the Gulf war.

The terrorists also employed 60mm gun-mortars used by France and Libyan rebels.

Arming Al Qaeda supporting rebels had unintended consequences, what a surprise.

Wasn’t there an unexplained warehouse at the Benghazi compound where Chris Stevens was killed?

Giving al Queda weapons in Libya is the gift that keeps on giving.

Sounds like a few weeds sprouted during last year’s “Arab Spring.”

Figure this out:
http://articles.latimes.com/2013/jan/18/world/la-fg-us-mali-20130119
“...many of Obama’s top aides say it is unclear whether the Mali insurgents, who include members of the group Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, or AQIM, threaten the U.S...
The September attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya, has provided fodder for both sides: AQIM members participated, U.S. intelligence officials have said, but the U.S. has found no evidence the attack was ordered or planned by AQIM.”

Obama armed the Mali terrorists, then says they’re just ‘participants’ in attacks on us and, therefore, not a threat.

Many of us will watch Secretary Clinton testify Wednesday, and the Republicans on the committee had better be "controversial." No pressure, or anything, just what little credibility the national GOP has left at risk, that's all.

Her head and other parts of her rhetorical anatomy are being served up on a platter.

I would not be at all surprised if some distraction happened to be stirred up hours before her appearance.

These are not the terrorists you're looking for.

They are just along for the ride.

We used to have an ambassador in Libya named Chris Stevens. No one really knows what happened to him. Memory of him has become clotted.

USA government issued arms and ordinance to Al Queda from Benghazi. Al Queda used the weaponry to attack the major gas plant operated by BP (oil spill in Gulf BP). When are the Brits going to wake up on this one?

This explains the Obama and Hillary Clinton near silence on the Algeria assault against the BP plant. They probably helped plan it. Also explains lack of USA cooperation with UK re hostages, and lack of USA cooperation with French military anti-terror anti-Islamist anti Al Queda Endeavour by French military in Mali.
