OWS types and Tea Partiers worked together after Sandy in assisting the people of Staten Island and the Rockaways. While I hold no truck with their marxism, they seem not to be the regimented drones of communists and they have a genuine distrust for big institutions. At a time when we may need any ally, I would not write them off.
It’s getting hard for anyone to feel comfortable with a heavily armed government and a disarmed citizenry. Left, right or in between. I don’t think I would side with Anonymous but if they want to take out totalitarians in positions of power I’m not going to get in their way.
