It looks like you and I need to find a new church.........

Perhaps some of us should put our heads together and write a "Stay out of secular business and quit assisting the modern-day Nazis...." thesis and spread it around, suggesting that it be nailed to church doors. That might get someone's attention.

When I look toward the future with my own eyes, I see that too.

When I think what God can do, I see great hope. All the bad going down right now can be reversed or corrected if only we truly have revival.

I do, however, as just Mr. BCC, see the U.S.A. now as the Biblical Sodom and Gomorrah, with not 10 righteous men.

The prequels ****ing sucked!

But every now and then there are lines from movies that are widsdom, even prophetic.

That was one of those lines. It simply cannot be more accurate.

This prayer of the faithful is from mass in the Catholic church, I am
Catholic and this infuriates me!!! The church jumped on the healthcare
bandwagon and then got thrown under the bus with our religious rights!!!
Well I guess when the time comes that ALL religious FREEDOM is
taken the church will be thrilled that there are no guns to stand up to
the tyranny against the church!!! I am ashamed to be a Catholic!!!!

You know, I am not the most religious man in this world. I have my troubles with religion.

But even I have enough sense to know that Jesus Christ is the key to every single thing.

I believe that man must allow Jesus to live in him and to live through him, becaue if man does not, then something else lives in him.

Without Jesus, man cannot govern himself.

"Stay out of secular business and quit assisting the modern-day Nazis...."

If I remember correctly, Hitler got along fine with the churches........at first. They thought what Hitler was doing was to better the lives of the people (sound familiar?).
They were wrong. Once Hitler acquired enough power, the crosses came down and the NAZI flags replaced them. Hitler then declared himself their God.

Go to the Ruger website. It has a take action box which allows you to send email letter to all reps and officials in your zip code. One week they had over 500,000 emails and they would like to reach 1,000,000 within several months. Time to make your voice heard. Go, fill out info and click. Takes few minutes and we have a chance to save most of the guns we own from ban.

If you watch the prequels exclusively for paying attention to the rise of Senator/Chancellor/Emperor Palpatine, they are great. He manitulates everyone constantly for his own benefit, without ever appearing to want power for himself. He starts a trade war in the first film in order to get himself elected Chancellor. The minute he becomes a Chancellor he contracts out for an army and waits ten years for it to get built, then causes another war, and shazam, he has an army to come to the rescue. Then he finally executes the old guard Jedi, puts his new army in place, and he's in like Flynn as the Emperor.

"Everything that has transpired has done so according to my design" - Emperor Palpatine

Yep. They've already got the taxpayers seeing red. Add this, and they're a goner.

This is a case where the ordinary run of the mill member of the Catholic hierarchy is simply behind the Pope and laity. The problem is they remember a different history.

Fact is back during the French Religious Wars when peace was finally made the Protestant faction, known as the Huguenots, refused to stack arms like the Catholic faction, known as De Guise ~

Like to note here that both factions were led, in part by people from a single wing of the Royal family ~ the BOURBON cadet branch so a lot of the stuff that happened was just typical royal blood letting leading up to the decision to find a new king ~ which, in fact, is what happened ~ they found a new king and he was the leader of the Protestants, and he became Henry IV upon formal conversion to Catholicism (which the law required of men who wanted to be king of France).

You can look up the Huguenots and find lots of interesting stuff, but it's what they did next that's most interesting ~ they refused to give up their firearms and took them home with them!

Why I know the Pope has a different view on firearms than the guys down the hierarchical ladder is he speaks often of religious freedom and tolerance AND he carves out areas in his speeches where he cranks in the history of the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries ~ particularly as they relate to the defensive wars against the Ottoman incursions into Europe.

He knows you gotta' keep your guns or you're not free ~ whether Catholic or Protestant.

Karl Marx missed that part by focusing on recent 19th century English industrialization, which is why the rest of the Catholic hierarchy is so out of touch with the fundamentals here.

If logic doesn't help solve their problem I'd bring in some hillbillies and go for a conversion ~ if not for yourself, at least your best parish priest. No sense he should go about trying to tend to the needs of Christian souls without packing heat ~ this is a violent world.

NOTE; Today a Protestant hispanic pastor was murdered along with members of his family in New Mexico. You just can't be too careful in these trying times.

Yes . . . if anything, the performance of Ian McDiarmid as Palpatine is worth viewing in the prequels.

Do you have any idea how many AR-15 type rifles are owned by gunowners? In the 1970’s an AR-15 was expensive compared to conventional wood stock rifles. The AR-15 manufacturers got smart by making various uppers that covered a range of calibers and configuration. One can own one rifle and many uppers (which do not require FFL to buy) plus the rail system offers more accessories. The carbine version is light and has very little recoil in the 5.56mm configuration that even women can own it and use it with ease. Since the 1970’s probably more AR-15 type rifles were sold then the wood stock ones and other black type rifles available. Now the gov wants to ban it, good luck!! Many of these rifles are owned by Reagan Dems and rural Dems as well as independents. This is an hornets nest the Dems and gov has stirred up. Ironically it would have been easier to ban the AR-15 and let the rest of the semi auto rifles legal in the 1980’s then now when the AR-15 is one of the most sold and owned rifle. On top of that the gov wants to ban the Ruger 10/22 and other 22 cal semi autos. The 10/22 and other 22 semi autos are the most owned gun in the entire world.
