So many tears for a fake dead girl, but none for a real one.
The death of Notre Dame football star Manti Te’o’s beautiful, brave girlfriend Lennay Kekua — widely reported by Sports Illustrated, CBS and many other media outlets — was all either an elaborate hoax or worse.
And in response, my alma mater held the kind of emotional news conference for the fake dead girl they never held for the real one, Lizzy Seeberg.

There were images of a fairly beautiful woman that the media had used for the girlfriend stories (apparently used without her knowledge.)
As well as being a mediocre linebacker propped up by low information adoring reporters. Solely because he played for Notre Dame.

HOW in the world can you believe anything this writer has to say?
She is ‘going along’ with the made up girlfriend AFTER THE FACT.
I realize that if you(I) publicly state “I don’t believe the media”, shouldn’t be able to ‘quote the media’ BUT on last nights news (NBC4 WASHDC) it was reported HE continued this ruse ate the Heisman ceremony and award....Granted I didn’t hear his ‘quote’ etc -he may have cited it was fake but still had an affect on him ‘mentally’” but the way I understood it, it was a casual conversation and he made no effort to straighten the situation out, although it had been known by him and ND to be fake at an earlier date.
And the poster that questioned how many votes resulted in this ‘tragedy’ is correct, I cite the fact that a certified liar, egoist etc was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize and Man of the Year for actually accomplishing nothing.

How about the way ND swept Declan Sullivan under the rug? He was the student assistant sent up in a scissorlift in gale force winds to video football practice. He died when the lift fell over. Heads should have rolled for that one, up to and including the football coach.
