Here’s an example of a “tough gun law”:
“If you’re found guilty of a crime involving a gun, you have a mandatory 3 yr. additional sentence.”
Which may sound ok, until you reach for a top shelf at Walmart and your Concealed Carry is exposed, and you’re charged with.....whatever....

(Which of Obama's policies do you think I'd support if he were white?)
When YNN.COM/news/capitaltonight commie moonbat Liz Benjamin asked New York State Senator Kathleen Marchione, "Why would a person need so much firepower as an assault rifle?"
The Senator fired back: "The Second Amendment has no limits on firepower."
The perfect answer - please support her Repeal SAFE ACT petition.
She has 60,000 signatures thus far

( Lend a friend a gun)
ANY law is ONLY as tough as the provisions contained within it AND the willingness to enforce it. One without the other ain’t worth a damn.

I imagine a Gun owner in Upstate New York sitting at his kitchen table holding a 10 Round Magazine, loading 7 Cartridges into it and then loading and unloading the EVIL 8th Cartridge.

(Duck Season, Rabbit Season, Duck Season, Rabbit Season) Cuomo and his sycophants are delusional, and just plain dangerous.

Of course Cuomo’s taxpayer-financed armed guards will turn in their weapons for six-shot revolvers.

"Tough" as in: you don't like it and it's blatantly un-Constitutional? Tough, we're doing it anyway.

Thank you for posting this article.
“What Does It Mean to Say That a Gun Law Is Tough?”
It means absolutely nothing. What means something is what the Justice System does with the laws it has.
Unfortunately, our Justice System is mostly controlled and staffed by criminals who dispense Justice with an OPEN EYE and OPEN POCKET.
If Judges won’t enforce ‘the law’ on the (criminally) rich who can afford to pay the piper, then the (criminally) rich will prosper and grow.

( If you think I'm crazy, just wait until you talk to my invisible friend.)
“Tough,” in this context, means contempt for the Constitution, plain and simple.
