A Fort Lauderdale man stabbed an apartment visitor in the back and forced the bleeding victim to strip and get into a bathtub, police said.
Lorenzo Jones, 26, is charged with attempted felony murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment and aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony.
He was ordered held without bond in Broward County's Main Jail on Wednesday during his first appearance court hearing.

Benton, who was released from a hospital after he underwent surgery, said Wednesday he still is recovering from his injuries. A motive for the attack wasn’t listed in the arrest report, and Benton declined to discuss additional details.
Benton did say, however, that his attacker was almost a stranger to him. “I have seen that person there before,” Benton said. “But I didn’t really know him.”
