One should remember that it was white Christian women who volunteered to transport black women to their jobs that desegregated the public bus systems.
This story by the HATE filled NYT is almost unbelievable.

The author, Blain Roberts, is a terrible writer. She’s one of those liberal grads from Princeton with graduate from UNC Chapel Hill (very liberal), and probably guilt-ridden over her Southern heritage. Apparently she is at Cal State Fresno, another liberal bastion.
Bet she’s anti everything, rolls her eyes at anything quaintly Southern just to show how modern and progressive she is, and identifies with those-oh-so-smart-academic types who live in the false world of ivory towers. She would probably choke if she ever got a copy of “Southern Living” or “Garden and Gun.” And, I’ll bet dollars to donuts she was NEVER a sorority girl! :)

Southern Women are just more beautiful than most, that's why they win, it has nothing to do with this Jim Crow nonsense put out here.
