The following is a list, provided by the White House, of executive actions President Obama plans to take to address gun violence.

1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system.

2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.

What’s with Precious today? His face looks swollen, his skin looks broken out. He’s listless and depressed. Is he hung over? Sick? Anyone else notice?

Crack cocaine.

Guaranteed that within these seemingly innocent proposals is something that will bite us in the butt.

For example:

4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.

Hmmm... “categories of individuals” that constitute “dangerous people”...??? As judged by that paragon of virtue, Eric Holder???

Hint: Black Panthers NO. Free Republic posters YES.

MSM logic.

crazy people are prohibited from owning a gun.
anyone who has a gun is crazy
anyone who wants a gun is prohibited from owning a gun.

next it will be anyone who wants private property.

THE MSMS IS the enemy.

This should be the clarion call to all of those that think we can survive Obama. Once they have the 50%+1 vote, they will ban guns and they will come for them.

Does this mean ER Doctor’s can now report drug addicts clogging up the ERs to the federal government and get them on a no buy list?

Hmm, my doctor asks me about guns and she gets one answer ~ it's none of your business and you don't want to find out.

That's the old Jedi Knight mind trick.

#2 is about trying to loophole\bypass HIPPA privacy. That may take a bill from congress.

#16 is also kinda scary.
I went to the VA and they asked me if I owned any guns.
I said “HUH?
They said they could ask but I didn’t have to tell them anything. I’m guessing that will be the gist of # 16.

but the rest seems like Obama bailed.
Most of that stuff is somewhat in place in some form or another.

17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.

Can't wait til someone invokes 'Right to Privacy' as "found" in 'Roe v Wade'

You are not under legal oath when you visit a doctor. Nothing says you have to answer that question truthfully.

The people at Columbine for the most part could not exercise their right to assemble because (1) They were minors, or (2) they were employees.

The kiddies, in fact, were there mostly because the state's mandatory school attendance laws said they had to be there.

Maybe Obama would like to UNDO school attendance laws, maybe public schools ~ get the kids out of those prison like structures that were so terribly difficult for them to ESCAPE when attacked.
