Also, what conditions will preclude gun ownership? Having gone to therapy? Frequently people try to get mental health services covered by their insurance. If someone seeks therapy to deal with post traumatic stress, or a move to a new location, trouble with their boss at work, help with difficult kids, marriage, etc, they get a diagnosis for the insurance co. It’s called adjustment disorder.
Will everyone using mental health services be banned from gun ownership?
What about IQ? Will people of lower IQ be banned from second amendment rights?
When someone gets a progressive disease like Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s, at what stage of the disease will the jack booted thugs come to his door?

In the Clackamas Mall shooting in Portland, Ore., a 22 year old man with a Conceal Carry Permit pointed his weapon at the shooter. The man didn’t fire, because there were innocent people walking behind the shooter.
The shooter saw the conceal carry guy pointing the weapon at him. The shooter stopped firing, ran off, and killed himself, thereby saving lives.
Like Wayne LaPierre said, “The way to deal with a bad guy guy who has a gun is for a good guy to have a gun,” or similar words.
I’m sure the gun-grabbing Kenyan mentioned this story in his little Hitler-esque presentation (I don’t really need a “sarc” tag, do I?)
That's interesting, since the ACA prohibits the docs from putting such information into patient files or otherwise recording it or notifying anyone. That'll be challenged toot sweet by someone, hopefully someone who was asked by the doc and finds out that it was reported. This conflicts DIRECTLY with the law, not to mention privacy concerns.
Note that it is also a "boundary violation" by the docs if they advise you to put your guns in a safe. They are not licensed as safety experts, and if such results in your injury (or one to anyone in your family), the doc can be sued and malpractice insurance will not cover him. It'll also be interesting if the docs tell you to similarly lock up harmful household chemicals - and if someone is injured in the absence of such advice, while the doc advised you to lock up your guns.

There are plenty of people who have guns...that they’ve had for a long time. Thus, they are not “registered” nor were they ever required to be.
I assume many of those will ignore such an obligation.
