Being publicly identified as to whether or not you are a gun owner is fine for thee but not me.

That is the attitude of many newspaper editors and journalists  as was revealed in a video produced by Project Veritas. Here is the Project Veritas explanation of what happened:

Posing as "Citizens Against Senseless Violence," we visit the homes of journalists working for Westchester Journal News, MSNBC, and the Star-Ledger. We also visited the home of Eric Holder. None will take our signs that say "THIS HOME IS PROUDLY GUN FREE."

I listened to this on the car radio last night, and LOL’ed all the way home.

The hypocrisy of the left is blatant!

Not that I’m against open carry, I’m not but I see the beauty of concealed carry is that the bad guys are left guessing about who’s armed and who’s not, thus even non carriers are somewhat protected by carriers.

I live in Illinois, where the bad guys don’t have to guess who’s armed and who’s not.

I watched this last night....hilarious. What a bunch of morons who would relegate our children to something they refuse.....remain unprotected and advertise it to the world.

A concerned citizen could place a sign like that in the tree belt, as that is not the property of the homeowner.

If I put up such a sign, ‘they’ would sue me after getting shot because I ‘lied’.

Or put it up and put a ? behind it....keep ‘em guessing.

I kind of favor the one pointing at your LOUD NEIGHBOR WHO IS AGAINST YOUR GUNS.

I wouldn’t point out a neighbor that personally didn’t want but also didn’t rail on me for having.

I posted a similar sentiment on my Farcebook page. The silence was deafening (except for my conservative friends).

Gun or no gun? Do you feel lucky punk? Well do ya?

They usually say they are devoted to "the public's right to know".

I guess that only applies to knowing the private affairs of other people.

This thread has just added to the FreeRepublic "bang list" (firearms interest list) by adding the keyword "banglist".

Any time a firearms-related thread is created on FreeRepublic, please be sure to add the "banglist" keyword to it so that interested FReepers don't miss it. Just a suggestion.

How about:

“This house protected by the physical means mentioned in the second article of the Bill of Rights.

Look it up, or die ignorant!”

Offer the men a sign in front of their wives that says: “This home is proudly homo free.” If they refuse, ask them why.

bunch of hypocrites
as usual the socialists show their hypocrisy and ignorance.

I honestly have come to hate these buffoons and if they want their socialsit utopia , then let them leave, the north east is a cess pit of socialism, why anyone with a gun, wants law and order and have brains would want to stay there and not move south or west is beyond me.

My wife moved out and said it was the best thing she ever did

How about a sign that says “There is one single shot gun in this home. So, one thug at a time, please.”

a film on the history of gun control and its consequences in the 20th century:

Innocents Betrayed click here to watch

statistics related & from the film:

The Mother of All Stats

The Human Cost of "Gun Control" Ideas
The Genocide Chart © JPFO.org 2002

http://jpfo.org/pdf02/genocide-chart.pdf

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

here is a helpful teaching site on guns as a liability or useful tool:

http://www.a-human-right.com/

if you click on a useful tool you'll go here:

http://www.a-human-right.com/introduction.html

then under Politics of Self Defense/Gun Control:

"One group of people naively believe that, in the absence of guns, criminal violence would be much reduced. They are quite wrong about that prediction: to the contrary, the strong would be able to bully the weak and we would be back in the Dark Ages...or the modern Third World.

Further, thinking that a mature technology such as firearms manufacture can be legislated out of existence is an opium pipe dream. Guns, in their basic form, are not very complex. Anyone with basic tools can make them and ammunition for them. Moreover, roughly 500 million functional firearms already exist. Guns, properly maintained, last for centuries.

Imagine a pack of hyenas stalking a human. As they close in for the kill, their intended prey repulses them with a rifle. As the surviving predators retreat, they think: "If only we could separate that human from her gun!"

People who think as those hyenas are less naive than the idealists who wish to ban guns outright. "Gun control" is a misnomer for what they have in mind. They are evil: they wish to control others. One of the easiest way to control other people is by making them defenseless.

Communists, fascists and other totalitarians world over have rendered their subject defenseless as the first step towards total control. Then they could imprison or murder millions with complete impunity."

which is precisely what has happened in the 20th century. it is indirectly occurring in America by abortion. the birth rate of 2.1 children per family required to maintain a steady population is being maintained by immigration. if all immigration stops, the U.S. population could actually shrink [ click here}. watch the gun control film on youtube. go look up the chart at the start of this post. it is not necessarily comprehensive.
