Ted Nugent, the rocker and Michigan deputy sheriff whose new line of ammunition has sold out amid gun control worries, claims members of state and federal law enforcement are poised to disobey any order by President Obama to seize guns.
Nugent, whose trained with the FBI, ATF and DEA, on Tuesday cited a group called "Oath Keepers," members of federal and state police and military organizations, who will not enforce laws that conflict with the Constitution and presumably the Second Amendment right to arms.
In an interview with the "Andrea Tantaros Show with Jason Mattera," Nugent said that if ordered to seize his guns, the "Oath Keepers" would refuse. "First of all," he said if military or law enforcement officials showed up at his Texas ranch, "I'd slice them a shank of venison because most of them are my friends."
He explained: "There is an official organization called 'Oath Keepers,' and these are heros of law enforcement and the military who will not obey an order, an illegal, anti-Constitution, oath-breaking order to infringe that far on our Second Amendment rights."
He predicted that "many will" refuse to enforce orders violating their interpretation of the Second Amendment, but not all, and he cited the Waco, Texas attack during the Clinton administration, as an example.
The Oath Keepers webpage details broadly the group's mission: "Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of currently serving military, veterans, peace officers, and firefighters who will fulfill the oath we swore to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, so help us God.
"Our oath is to the Constitution, not to the politicians, and we will not obey unconstitutional (and thus illegal) and immoral orders, such as orders to disarm the American people or to place them under martial law and deprive them of their ancient right to jury trial."
In the interview, Nugent also revealed that Obama's threat to gun owners has helped him sell out his new line of ammunition for rifles and pistols.
"I'm in the gun industry," he said. "I have my own Ted Nugent line of ammo that has sold out every pallet that we can back into a sporting goods store."

If this nonsense passes, or is proclaimed to be, patriots everywhere will run for the office of Sheriff and deputize their entire counties!

The battle lines for CWII have already been drawn. Take a look at the red and blue map on a county basis. The questions are how do you determine a friend coming out of a blue county and what do you do with the blues in a red county. This won't be a state by state war. It is a war of red and blue.

If government officials had to go into an area and disarm a determined, organized, well armed and somewhat trained enemy, as opposed to a bunch of motley, poorly organized criminals, I'm not sure they would ultimately have much taste for that.
Numbers of gangs and gang members I've heard cited for various cities range from 60 to 100 various gangs and factions of those gangs, and up to 100,000 total members in those cities, and law enforcement hasn't had the will so far to root them out.
Of course they haven't had the convenient excuse of an insurrection, or the dangerous, evil, racist white man rebelling against his rightful masters to give them that little extra incentive.
Ultimately Zero's failure will be in the divisions he has caused to worsen in this country. Governing a large, diverse country with multiple conflicting interests is never easy. That's why the Founders put in the buffer of a republican (small "r") government. Zero is bound and determined to get his way and the rest of us be damned. That's some seriously dangerous ground he's treading.
My personal belief is that the war on guns is a cover for something else, but that’s just me being cynical.
I really don’t think there are too many local lawmen down here in Texas that will try to carry out Obama’s gun-grabbing dictates. If there are indeed a handful, well, let’s just say I really don’t expect them to last very long. That is, in terms of “breathing.”

If you know a military officer or enlisted person, remind them of their oath, and ask them to be true to it.
The oath is not term-limited, but for life. It does not "expire when you retire." Their oath is to the Constitution...the freedom of their countrymen. That law stands above every other, and above every military regulation, directive, memo, or the direct order of a superior.
This oath embodies the one thing that taxpayers have been paying them for all through their careers.
Similarly, if you know an officer of the law, ask them to be true to their oath, and to study what the original words of the Constitution say, and what those words mean.
For anyone who has sworn an oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, obeying any directive to restrict, in any way, the rights of the people to own and carry firearms, is a direct violation of the Constitution, and of their oath.
Those who would ignore the meaning of the Second Amendment do so not just at risk of retaliation from those whose rights they are attacking, but criminal punishments at the hand of future courts who could very easily prosecute them and impose serious penalties.
Today's dictator may seem secure in his little oval office. But if that man is ever out of the White House, a future Administration could turn the gun control movement against those who attempt to impose it today.
And those of us who respect and Cherie's not only our own rights, but the rights of our countrymen, should insist that any and all future administrations punish any law enforcement officer, any military officer or enlisted person, any politician, and any other current or former government official who violates his oath to protect and defend the Constitution by participating in any current or future restriction of the Second Amendment, in any way. We, as Americans, must loudly proclaim that when Obama is finally swept from power, in whatever way it happens, that we will INSIST the any and all future governments prosecute to the fullest extent of the law, anyone and EVERYONE who participates in robbing Americans of their rights.
