Like most of us, they are trying to wrap their minds around the inconceivable idea that we are indeed under attack by Communists. Being inside the Beltway means that they lack the distance needed for perspective and clear thinking.

They will be the last to "get it."

^^^ THIS. I'd like to think they are waiting for the "right time"....but I fear that time has already passed.

But they need to know we are watching closely. I can only speak for myself but if they bow to this without a fight, I'll make it my business to work toward replacing each and every one of them. And it won't be hard to find replacements as almost anyone can do NOTHING.
