Brave Julianne Moore bravely accepts Golden Globe for brave parody of Palin
The Daily Caller ^ | January 14, 2013 | Jim Treacher

... Julianne Moore won an award for playing Sarah Palin in Game Change, because of course she did. And then, apparently, the director of the movie was gushing about how “brave” she was for doing that. That’s right: Daring to depict Sarah Palin in an unflattering light is an act of bravery. In Hollywood.

Brave? Tina Fey did it for weeks on end. She even did it on an episode hosting by Sarah Palin herself!. And Fey wasn't even part of the cast any more at that time!

They have to keep saying "brave" and "courageous" because this was one of the most cowardly productions in years.

They could have dramatized the whole book -- the sections about Hillary and Barack and the damning section about John Edwards.

Instead they chose to focus narrowly on Palin because she was an easy target: nobody who mattered was going to complain.

And of course, Julie Anne got the award, because there aren't that many "mini-series" or made for television movies any more.

The category is a relic of an earlier era when "movies of the week" and "network television events" abounded.

Now it's an easy win for the few stars or programs available.

Didn't she play a Porno actress in some movie called Boogie Nights?

According to IMDB, yes. She also played the role of an incestuous mother in Savage Grace that defies all boundaries of the R rating. The closer one looks at JM's body of movie work, the less attractive she becomes as a person and as an actress.

Stupid dress, ugly hairstyle. She looks matronly. Age must be catching up.

They are jealous because she is HAPPY..even after all the crap she had had to deal with she is HAPPY..she has a wonderful family, health, a wonderful husband who supports her and loves her, wonderful parents who raised a great human being..meanwhile what do celebrities have, why do they even have these award shows..to pat each other on the back so that THEY feel special..do they even realize that most of America thinks they are stuck up jackasses who don’t live in the real world, nah I dont think they care
They are all about promoting the Communist Agenda, getting rid of guns..funny, they all have armed guards around them 24/7..if they TRULY wanted all guns gone I am all for them not having armed guards anymore..in fact, last night’s Golden Globes should have been a “Gun Free Zone” see how they would like living like most of us have to live

When one of these RAT B@st@rds from Hollyweird or the entertainment industry enlist in the military and are deployed in a hostile part of the world, then I may agree that the word, “Brave” is fitting to bestow upon that individual. When one of these RAT B@st@rds from Hollyweird or the entertainment industry stands up and fights FOR the Constitution, and against those who seek to destroy the Constitution, then I might agree they demonstrate bravery. Until then, STFU and make your movies, T.V. shows, or music.

Your post #32

Orwellian. Truly Orwellian. No other word describes it.

Right on. I may be one of the few who might remember a Rush Limbaugh statement, way back in time. True, this may be to digress, but I will chance that. Rush held forth on why certain people hate and detest true Christians. I would not for worlds invent anything here.

Rush said that by being whom they are and even with faults, the Christian strives to live righteously. He went on that being whom they are, then reflects on the smart amoral and hedonistic crowd (I am not using his exact words however).

It enrages them to see just what persons should really strive to be. This is the gist of Rush. My own view is that these sneering spiteful persons can only feel good about themselves, if everyone else is brought down to their level.

Sarah Palin does not preach. She does not stoop to their level. I aver that their own grandmothers would rather have a Sarah than a spiteful Katie- or the so-called comedian of the female variety.

Excuse the rant.

Oh yeah, I forgot about this story. Excuse me a minute while I go pitch my copy of "The Fugitive" in the trash.

My movie inventory is getting mighty slim these days, what with throwing out movies with these liberal dingbats in them.....
