Hmmm. Looking at those IR shots, I wonder how well having radiant barrier in the attic blocks that imagery. I’m thinking it would fairly well.

Expect a big upsurge in sales of LED grow lights. These use a lot less electricity than high-pressure sodium lights (for instance). In addition to the high efficiency of any LED -- these grow lights only produce the parts of the spectrum that is required by the plants.
