Two teenagers accused of killing a manafter he introduced them to a female prostitute will be charged with second-degree murder, a judge ruled Thursday morning...

Llano told police he had Hypollite in a choke hold while Xolo stabbed him with a pen and hit him with a broken glassbottle.

Xolo denied using the bottle but admitted to stabbing Hypollite with a pen.

When officers arrived, they saw two teenagers hitting a man who was on the ground, said Hallandale Police Chief Dwayne Flournoy. The teenagers then ran away. Officers soon found Hypollite's body.

This article seems to tap dance around some rather obvious points, the first being, when someone is paid to introduce someone else to a prostitute, in the vernacular they are called a "pimp".

Second, that when a pimp and his prostitute have the opportunity to rip off their customers, they will likely take it.

Third, these boys must be plenty stupid to think they can rent a prostitute for $10, after paying her pimp $40.

Having said this, here is a picture of the alleged Mr. Gregory Hypollite. Don't you just love the shirt?

This reminds me of the rude t-shirt caption.

Pen is

Actually, that’s no laughing matter. DH got stabbed with a pencil in grade school & you could still see the scar 20 sum odd years ago.
Ohhh forks are deadly. So deadly, I believe the Emperor had the plastic forks all gathered up at a luncheon in Florida where he was speaking last summer. I’m surprised anyone gets out of dinner alive.

It only takes an extra second or two when you have to use it, but think of the lives that can be saved if every pen had a safety lock.

LOL Oh, I would. When I moved into my first apartment by myself, I had a “deadly” potato peeler. I’d peeled off a good chunk of a finger a year or so earlier) Should make for some hilarious reading, tho.

All good points. How long will it take Congress to act? The Big Pen lobby has been intractable.

Perhaps our Dear Leader can just issue an edict against the evil Pen Lobby.

About 10 or 15 years ago (I think it was just after 2001) I was going through airport security somewhere and was asked if I had any sharp objects on me.... I said “yes, as a matter of fact I do” to which I was told “well, lay them out for inspection”. I proceeded to empty my pencil case in the tray at which point the security agent said “yeah, we really don’t know what to do about sharp pens....”

The founders never intended for the public to use anything but a quill and inkwell.

Good start but you have completely failed to address the problem of the availability of writing implements in schools.

And you cannot tell me that the big pen lobby isn't targeting our children with cartoon characters used to sell malevolent, cheap weaponry:

That was the good old days. It really ticks me off that I can’t even take a crochet hook or a sewing needle into jury duty. We’re kidding around but we’ve really lost our minds on this “security” stuff. We are neither secure nor sane.

I need pens.

What I don’t need at all is teens.

Ban ‘em.

How about we ban cars which kill 40,000 - 50,000 people a year which is over twice the amount of gun deaths if you discount suicides by gun? If 30,000 people this year died by gun, half would be suicides which leaves 15,000. Yet anyone can own a car and anyone over 18 can operate one. Hmmmm, nope - nothing in the constitution that states “the right of the people to own cars shall not be infringed” The stats on gun deaths compared to other deaths really shows how the communist propaganda machine posing as our MSM influences public policy and frankly I’m getting sick to death of it. For example guess how many people drown every year? 1.2 MILLION around the world and 10 every day in the USA. Ever hear anything about that by our communist propaganda machine? Nope. Can’t control the people that way.
