WASHINGTON (AP) — A massive new federal scientific report says global warming is already changing America from sea to rising sea and how Americans live.
The government issued Friday a 1,146-page draft report that details in dozens of ways how climate change is already disrupting the health, homes and other facets of daily American life. It warns that those disruptions will increase in the future.
The blunt report takes a global environmental issue and explains what it means for different U.S. regions, for various sectors of the economy and for future generations.
The National Climate Assessment doesn't say what should be done about global warming. White House science adviser John Holdren writes that it will help leaders, regulators, city planners and even farmers figure out what to do to cope with coming changes.

It’s been close to frozen here .. the fruit trees love it,, the homeless are getting new blankets,, the state has projected a “surplus” this year.
It just goes to show you how worthless “Massive Government Studies” are when it comes to actual findings. No raise in Temps for 16 years, but the “Massive Government Study” proved it anyway. And, its only a draft! We can spend many Millions more paying for the “Final” worthless politicaly correct drivel.

Forecast for Death Valley temperature for instance, is FREEZING (30F to 32F) this weeekend.

Here in Northern Ohio, temps in the 60s for the next couple days. Back to 30s on Monday. I loved it! No coat today! About 12 years ago, I painted my house during the first two weeks of December. We’d already had a good snowfall in November that year. Just weather! Sometimes it blows from the south, sometimes from Canada. Lake Effect snow. Argh!

Global temperatures have not risen for 15 years, that’s a cold, hard fact admitted by even the most ardent global warming enthusiasts (the honest ones at least). So, if our behavior is changing, then something else must be doing the deed. Wonder what that could be? My nomination would be blathering idiots and global warming zealots screaming that the sky is falling.
That's in the valley itself, below sea level. In some parts of Death Valley Nat'l Park it is hovering around zero degrees overnight. And just 40 miles up the road from the northern boundary of the park, it recently hit -27 below.

The greatest way Global Warming is changing the way of life in America, is that it is removing any trust the people have in their government. Global warming has ceased for the past 15 years. So we now have the government trying to get people to prepare for warming, while a historic period of Cold Arctic Blasts will be sweeping across the US the next few weeks. Way to go Uncle Sammy. Just when we thought you could not make the situation any worse then you already have.

Jan. 8, 2013: In the galactic scheme of things, the Sun is a remarkably constant star. While some stars exhibit dramatic pulsations, wildly yo-yoing in size and brightness, and sometimes even exploding, the luminosity of our own sun varies a measly 0.1% over the course of the 11-year solar cycle.
There is, however, a dawning realization among researchers that even these apparently tiny variations can have a significant effect on terrestrial climate. A new report issued by the National Research Council (NRC), “The Effects of Solar Variability on Earth’s Climate,” lays out some of the surprisingly complex ways that solar activity can make itself felt on our planet.
Understanding the sun-climate connection requires a breadth of expertise in fields such as plasma physics, solar activity, atmospheric chemistry and fluid dynamics, energetic particle physics, and even terrestrial history.
No single researcher has the full range of knowledge required to solve the problem. To make progress, the NRC had to assemble dozens of experts from many fields at a single workshop. The report summarizes their combined efforts to frame the problem in a truly multi-disciplinary context.........
