Then I read the article, saw the name, and all was answered.
I don’t like this. The guy made a very offensive statement that I don’t agree with. But he did not make a specific threat against a specific person or group and, at least from the article, there is no other evidence that he was planning a crime. If the government can arrest you for making a statement on Facebook, we are turning into a police state. Perhaps someone should have investigated or questioned this guy, but arresting him goes too far.
We have only to look at Beslan to see what Islamists are willing to do when they see an opportunity.
To be truthful, at this point any school that doesn’t have somebody armed on the premises is a sitting duck, and willfully so. Vulnerable to lawsuits if something actually does happen, and given that Eric Holder is holding the door open so terrorists can walk in, and arming their drug-cartel allies, I think we’d be stupid to think there are not Islamists here who would be willing to do a Beslan in the US.
Its worse than this CBS story.
There was another guy nearby in Valencia, Eric Ting Yee, that posted Looking out a window and see some little kids I wouldnt mind murdering at all. I dont know. I would find it funny. It would be like the Aurora shooting in Colorado.
His window overlooks a school.
From Pomona, about an hour east, they arrested 24 year old Kyle Edward Bangayan.
So I woke up this morning and said to myself
Dang you know would be really awesome right now
some dead kindergarteners.
Mohammad Akbar Baraki, 37, from Porter Ranch also said on his Facebook that he is a Republican who like Metallica, Shakir and Coldplay and he is a fan of both The Holy Bible and The Holy Quran.
Only Baraki will be charged. The threats werent specific enough for Yee and Bangayan.
"Newtown is just the begging of the attacks ...... more kids must be killed if anyone watched the bin laden movie will be shot at site.... this is a final warring to all Americans."
Yeah, that sounds 'Republican'....
This is interesting in that there was a story just the other day that I posted about here http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2976271/posts
This story also takes place in LA, with more specifics, AND this guy also had the guns.
The difference. In this article the per-perp was arrested. In the one I posted the perp was let go.
