Peres is a left wing holdover from days when the Israeli population was hypnotized into thinking “land for peace, land for peace, land for peace...” That mantra no longer works. It’s like saying “Global Warming.” That is SO last year. Get with it.
The Israelis are now solidly to the right of center. They have had enough of this sh_t. The Islamists will continue pushing for the destruction of Israel. In their blind hatred, they will guarantee their own destruction.
I wager that the Israelis destroy their Islamic neighbors before the summer is out.
I'd like to see them "annex" about half of each of their murderous "neighbors", create a huge buffer zone, and invite Christians from all the "Arab Spring" hellholes to come in and help populate it.
There’s a lot of stuff mixed up in there. Edom refers to descendants of Esau, which the Arabs aren’t; they’re descended from Ishmael. Also, the Moabites and Ammonites are not directly related to either Edomites or Ishmaelites. (This is why the Jordanians rejected the name “Palestine”.)
Any “peace” deal with the Palestinians is worthless anyway. They want the destruction of Israel, period. The only way that changes is a war where they get their a$$es handed to them in a big way. Anyone who imagines otherwise is deluded.
Correct. They wanted the “one-state solution” since 1947. The current Palestinian Authority flag shows no state of Israel on it, and all of Israel’s land as part of Palestine.

My bet is that Israel will never destroy the Palistinians until the Messiah comes. Unless the nation unites under God, they do not have a mandate to finish the job and they know it.
However I would not bet against the Palistinians destroying themselves by the end of summer. That is a pretty good bet. Bombing Ashkelon with high power Russian missiles is a fools errand. Ashkelon is the chemical manufacturing city and refinerys of Israel. Hit the wrong factory, like the Chlorine factory, and they are toast, because Gaza is down wind...
But that won't stop them. At least till the green cloud reaches them.
