The Revenge of Obama
The American Thinker ^ | 9 January 2013 | Eileen F. Toplansky

Posted on 01/10/2013 4:18:57 AM PST by MeneMeneTekelUpharsin

During World War II, a group known as the Monuments Men, "attempted to minimize [Nazi] damage to European monuments and architecture and then track down stolen works of art. In the end Allied Forces located more than 1,000 repositories of art, sculpture, and furniture stolen by the Nazis," a search which continues to this day. In his book entitled Rescuing Da Vinci, author Robert M. Edsel, quotes William Shirer who described Hitler thusly:

I observed his face. It was grave, solemn, yet brimming with revenge. There was also in it, as in his springy step, a note of the triumphant conqueror, the defier of the world. There was something else, difficult to describe, in his expression, a sort of scornful inner joy at being present at this great reversal of fate -- a reversal he himself had wrought.

This "scornful inner joy" describes Obama well. With his officious bearing and his "revenge" moment, he is the "defier of the world" as he continues his transformation of this country.

And it makes me shudder.

I have been wracking my brain trying to determine why all of the recent events have been happening, why Obama is so arrogant and dictatorial in appearance and behavior, why he is pushing certain aspects of leftist, Democrat philosophy so relentlessly. Suddenly, early this morning, it hit me. He is enacting revenge for the secret powers that be behind the scenes whom we will NEVER know for perceived wrongs and/or actual wrongs suffered by those who pull his strings. So, I did a search on Google of "Obama + revenge" and guess what? Eileen already wrote a superb article about the subject. Also, seems like someone wrote a book explaining the motivation behind his actions as well.

We are entering the age of despotism and revenge in this nation powered by those who have turned their backs on God and have embrace Satan and his philosophy. Satan tried an insurrection against God a long time ago and failed miserably. His entire existence now consists of trying to strike back at God in any way possible (the subject of the book of Revelation). If one reads the Bible and understands it, then one can see in the broad perspective of things, this ongoing battle played out by the characters now on stage. How tragic that even those that understand along with the ignorant masses are going to suffer horribly in a short while.

God help us all. Pray to God to help us all.

The concepts of living in harmony, forgiveness and righteousness have been thrown out the window. Christians would do well to remember Romans 12:16 - 13:8 ----

Romans 12:16 Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.
Romans 12:17 Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men.
Romans 12:18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men.
Romans 12:19 Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,"says the Lord.
Romans 12:20 "But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head."
Romans 12:21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 13:1 Let every person be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
Romans 13:2 Therefore he who resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.
Romans 13:3 For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same;
Romans 13:4 for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath upon the one who practices evil.
Romans 13:5 Wherefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience' sake.
Romans 13:6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.
Romans 13:7 Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.
Romans 13:8 Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

Obama is bitter because he was born of a race unto it’s own.

His book tells the tale if people read it and read just a bit between the lines.

It aint easy being born a Hybrid, and for Obama handed off to his Grandmother and mentored by a black Communist it turned him into what he is. A bitter ,hateful, spiteful narcissist.IMO his bi-sexuality makes it even harder.

We are being led by a man who hates us, is torn between races, torn between genders, torn between religious beliefs.

But he sure does enjoy the perks.

If you didn’t see this one coming, you just weren’t looking. In our country’s recent history we’ve celebrated diversity in our population as if it were a good thing. However, one look at world history will show you that no country with a diverse population of different races, languages, and religion has long survived.

Countries don’t naturally form with a diverse population, and when in the past they’ve occurred it’s usually been as the result of armed conquest. These unnaturally formed countries have either melded together into a single population made up of one mixed race with one language and one religion or they’ve come apart, and they’ve usually come apart with extreme violence. The longer these diverse populations are forced to coexist with one another without mixing and becoming one, the more the hatred grows among them and the more violently they break apart, but break apart they will, or genocide will settle the issue once and for all.

Why is this and why can’t we all just get along? The truth of the matter is that we (the human race) just aren’t as civilized as we would like to think we are. Genus Homo sapiens isn’t that long “out of the trees” and the veneer of civilization is very thin, to non-existent, upon us all. We are all carrying the genes that got us here and some of those genes carry a very basic survival instinct that has allowed us to survive thus far.

This most basic of all survival instincts is the one that warns us to be very wary of those who are different than us, our family, and our tribe. Those who possessed this survival instinct survived and reproduced, and those who had no fear/distrust of strangers didn’t survive. Over the years, this survival instinct has been referred to as tribalism, nationalism, ethnocentrism, racism, and various other isms, but it is an inborn instinct carried in our genes whether we like it or not.

This “celebration” of diversity in the American population was introduced in the 1960s and 70s as a deliberate divisive revolutionary tool wielded by Marxists like Bill Ayers and other radicals. It became dogma taught by Marxists in our universities, then spread by our leftist controlled news media and leftist controlled Hollywood. The intent was, and is, to split American culture along race and class lines and set off a “proletarian” revolution to destroy capitalism. The Left has now managed to elect a half-Black radical as President and their revolution is proceeding along very predictable lines, with him using every opportunity to stir up more division and discontent. A reading of the Constitution of the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA at this link should make clear their goals and methods: http://revcom.us/Constitution/constitution.html

At the beginning of the 21st Century, the American people are about to learn the savage lesson of Communist Revolution that the Russian people learned at the beginning of the last century. Millions died in Russia’s Communist “experiment” before they learned that Communism doesn’t work, as the concept of Communism (“You didn’t make that”) is completely alien to basic human nature. Now it’s our turn to learn what Russia after a century of misery now knows.

However, the coming American Communist Revolution that Karl Marx and his acolyte Barack Hussein Obama is bringing upon us won’t progress in the comparatively orderly fashion as it did with the Bolsheviks in Russia. The cursed diversity within the U.S. population will quickly turn this Communist Revolution into a no-holds-barred, and to-the-death, Race War. How our country, with its Constitution intact, could possibly survive such a blood-bath is a near impossibility. I once believed our country would one day become a mixed race people of olive skinned, brown eyed, black haired, Spanish speaking Muslims, but Barack Hussein Obama has started a Communist Revolution that will undoubtedly destroy any possibility of that ever occurring.

There is no expiration date on any of our survival instincts, and white Liberal Democrats in their “Gun Free” zones will be the first among us to be reminded of this. As we Americans continue to live out the old Chinese curse, “May you live in interesting times.”

He is the liberal messiah, he has accomplished what Clinton couldnt (or wouldnt) due to cultural limitation and demographics at that time in 1990s.

His main accomplishment was Obama-care with the taxes in it.

The return to the Clinton tax rates for >$400K was not a big liberal accomplishment for the simple reason that the Bush tax rates always had expiration dates on them. In fact O extended them with no expiration dates for <$400K. Libs would have done much better if they all went up and Rs got the blame for it.

For that blame the Republicans of 2005 to 2006 who controlled the WH and congress and never seriously tried to make them permanent, if they couldnt do it how were House Rs alone going to do it 10 years later?.

You know, I have been exposed to the Bible since before I could read, my dad having read to me and my sister various parts and pieces since we were infants. And while I am grateful for the wisdom and the stories from many parts of the Bible, some specific parts you have quoted from Romans make absolutely no sense to me whatsoever.

In essence, what those passages seem to be saying is that even if you live under a despotic, tyrannical regime, be a model citizen and do your best to get along by being compliant and subservient to the despots and tyrants.

If taken literally, which is not always a good idea with the Bible, then this country would have never formed, because Washington would have been trying to feed and build campfires for the Redcoats at Valley Forge rather than fighting them.

Maybe I am missing something, and I am willing to let the Lord have vengeance rather than trying to take my own, but those passages still make no sense to me in any context relating to tyrannical, evil leaders and government.

At what point should living under the iron fist of a tyrant become untenable to me and cause me to take matters into my own hands versus waiting for God to sort it out? God didn’t come to the rescue of the hundreds of millions who died in the past century at the hands of their own governments. At least not in this earthly plane. And I am disinclined to sit around being a model citizen while every right, supposedly granted me by God, is subverted and subsumed by power-lusting, valueless, amoral men.

Jesus was forceful in his opposition to tyranny, whether of the religious or the political establishments. He scourged the temple authorities with a whip and denied the authority of Caesar’s government to Pilate’s face. His murder was forced by his noncompliance. He drew out the good in men’s hearts with his love and forced the evil in men’s hearts into the open with his uncompromising stand against evil.
He was, in a word, fearless. The lesson of Jesus is the courage of conviction.

I am a Christ follower and believe the Bible is the Word of God. You have posed extraordinary insightful comments and questions. You have asked things that I, myself, have been deeply wrestling with. And, as you quite amazingly point out, as I too have pondered, how could this country ever have been formed if Christians just sat back passively and accepted whatever was handed us, believing meekly that it is the “will of God” and we therefore must endure whatever evil comes along.

First, I believe that the Spirit of God intimately changes the hearts of men. The Spirit inspires men to act in certain fashions. For example, the Holy Spirit can move men's hearts to accomplish certain tasks.

As noted, I am still wrestling with all this, but I am coming to the conclusion that as Christians we MUST act if we have the resources to do so.

If I have a million dollars and see a financial need that I can meet, I am called to be generous and meet that need. Similarly, if I have some amount of liberty coupled with defensive resources and some financial capacity, I believe I am called upon to use my resources to repel evil and resist it's influence. In this manner, I am being “generous” with what God has entrusted me with by using it as a form of assistance to others by preserving liberty.

In Paul's day many (not all) of the Christians were very poor and had very little political power (under the thumb of Roman rule) and very, very little cultural influence at the time. Therefore, I believe Paul was telling them how to live with the resources that God had given to them at that time.

If we have a lot of resources (money, cultural influence, the ability to defend ourselves, etc.) then we have a general call to use all of our resources in a generous and sacrificial manner. So, for me, I don't think we are called to lay down in the street to be run over by a tyrannical government — especially if we have the means and resources to resist — as this represents a means of living generously and sacrificially for others.

We must always be kind and respectful, but evil is not from God. He may allow it via the free will of men, but it is not His desire and we CAN and MUST resist that evil. And evil includes those who would seek to enslave us by taking away our God-given liberties!

Thanks for a great post. I was blown away by its insightfulness.

Thank you both for your replies. It seems we all have much to think about these days. This is a time when we trust in the Lord, and keep our powder dry ... and that is not so much a contradiction as it may seem.

What brought about civilization as we know of it was and is th Jewish/Christian faiths. When our spiritual heritage was attacked, it did great harm to this country.

Everything in prophesy that happened, happened literally. It did not happen spiritually. Christ came in person. He will come again in person. If you are not understanding Romans, get back into the Book and study some more. It will come to you. The Bible has made these times completely crystal clear. No doubts about it. It tells exactly what these times are going to be like. It tells of the coming one world government, and those predictions were made thousands of years ago, not last week. And TODAY they are happening. Read Romans 1, and check out what it says this world would be like in these last days. Completely and utterly correct and direct on point. No other Book, of any religion, speaks of this type stuff and it has all come true. The Bible is the Word of God. Anyone that does not believe that and does not accept Jesus Christ as Savior, will be reminded of that at the great white throne of judgment. Study your Bible my friend. It will come too you and it will make sense. Compare scripture with scripture. Reading the Bible straight through, it does not make sense. But, if you study it, comparing one with another, it makes perfect sense. Get a Strong’s concordance. It will help doing the scripture comparing.
