An executive order that conflicts with the Constitution of the United States? Even Clinton would never have gone that far. I hope the response to Obama is exactly what he deserves - nonviolent but unwavering and perpetual opposition to totalitarian evil.

"Biden said that this is a moral issue and that 'it's critically important that we act.'"
I thought the Maxist Democrats are always telling us that we "can't legislate morality."
Can't ever accuse them of consistency, can we?

This would be equivalent to FDR threatening to 'stack the Supreme Court', it would make Obama a lame duck the moment he attempts to circumvent the Constitution.
Even Democrats from Red States would be forced to oppose him.

Perhaps a symbolic protest is needed. Such as when greenies turn off all their lights at an appointed time. Except this time, if Obama makes a move and patriots announce an appointed time, the air will be filled with the sounds of millions of guns being fired. Even if cities have gunshot detection equipment, that will be overwhelmed by thousands of simultaneous gunshots. I think such an action will let them know we are ready to act.

If Obama DOES issue such an order, the House better start impeachment proceedings ten minutes after he issues it.

Has anyone (in the modern era) tried to organize an armed demonstration of both our first amendment right to peaceably assemble and our second amendment right to bear arms? What would it be like if 100,000 (or more) armed citizens gathered in VA and marched across the bridges into DC to protest the intrusions on our rights, including a protest on the intrusion into our right to form a militia against a tyrannical government?
