Biden: Obama Considering 'Executive Order' to Deal With Guns
"The president is going to act," said Biden, giving some comments to the press before a meeting with victims of gun violence. "There are executives orders, there's executive action that can be taken. We haven't decided what that is yet. But we're compiling it all with the help of the attorney general and the rest of the cabinet members as well as legislative action that we believe is required."
Biden said that this is a moral issue and that "it's critically important that we act."
Biden talked also about taking responsible action. "As the president said, if you're actions result in only saving one life, they're worth taking. But I'm convinced we can affect the well-being of millions of Americans and take thousands of people out of harm's way if we act responsibly."
Biden, as he himself noted, helped write the Brady bill.
Eric Holder was scheduled to be at the meeting that's currently taking place at the White House.

All one has to do is examine what Obama has done on the international stage to see what he will do here. Nothing but death and destruction to Libya, Egypt and Syria. And now Iraq is destabilizing as is Afghanistan. Said he would be responsible for more deaths then anyone in human history about 3-4 years ago. And it looks like he is right on track. Hitler, Stalin, Mao and Obama.
Might save “a life” on the one hand and cost many more on the other.

I understand, but I’m still not giving them up, even if the SC rules his EOs effective. I can read, actually, and what the 2nd Amendment tells me is my right to own firearms, any firearms shall not be infringed. The fact that I choose to accept my particular State’s rules about purchasing, etc. is immaterial to the argument. The FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, the very entity the Second Amendment and the rest of the Bill of Rights protects my God-given rights FROM, repeat FROM!, has no f@cking say in the matter.
If they want to do away with the Bill of Rights or part of them, then by GOD, do it according to the Constitution....get 3/4 of the states to ratify an amendments and 2/3 of both houses to confirm it. Otherwise Obama and Holder can STFU as well as the media and liberals.
It does sound as though she understood intrinsically what we're up against. And yes - it is evil. As evil as the little monster who broke into that school in Connecticut. But rather than deal with the real problem (our sick and demented popular culture), the Left's fascist impulses are now on full display.
After all, Progressives created this culture of violence and immorality, and now propose to deny decent and honest people the ability to defend themselves against its byproducts. Well, to hell with them and to hell with that.
How about all of the lives that are lost as a result of The Incompetent One voting 3 times to deny medical care to a baby that survives an abortion? Hmmmm?

Each State could “nullify” any Executive Order or Federal Congressional law under Article 9 and 10 of the US Constitution!
It would appear that nothing the US Supreme Court found in both Heller decision and the McDonald v Chicago decision the right to keep and bear arms is an [individual] protected right, not a collective State right!
Any gun confiscation EO or Legislative Bill will be met by a second American revolution with only 1/3 of the American people fighting to protect their natural right of self defense, just like the first revolution when only 1/3 fought against the British military!
The first revolution started when he British marched to Concord to seize guns and ammo, so will the second revolution because most Americans simply refuse to learn from history and history must be repeated!
Keep your heads down, fight on your ground not on the Freddy’s. Get your families together right now and make plans to keep them safe and learn how to fight in small teams that can disburse quickly in hit and run tactics. Never let the enemy sleep, eat, or feel secure! Harass them until they either back off, leave your area or simply give up!

And yes, if he tries to enact gun control via executive order... It violates the Constitutions express limits on his power.
Someone, anyone, should be quoting the the FBI statistics on how many weapons are used every year to stop the bad guys. I read here and other sites about a citizen stopping a home invasion every day. Who on our side ever discusses those stats?
Our side talks about the 2nd Amendment, but rarely points out how many innocent decent citizens protect themselves on a daily basis. The last FBI stats I read showed many more defending themselves with weapons in one year than all the horrific mass shootings, not to mention the gangsters in Chicago (530 deaths in 2012), Detroit, Philly, et al.
Come get my simple home-defense weapons, Biden/Bambi. Go for it. Just try an Executive Order and see if anyone obeys your totalitarian directives. This is NOT 1936 Germany. We are a different culture.
The courts will not uphold this. They know it is the end of their power if they allow the POTUS to become a dictator. They will protect their powers.

He is not a member of the LEGISLATIVE branch.
The President cannot enact laws. Only the LEGISLATIVE branch can do that.
If he tries this, he is no better than a dictator.
He can do what he wants. We’re all going to be making our own executive decisions regarding this as well.
It is a moral issue and it deals with tyranny, and creating law to turn law-abiding people they can’t touch into criminals so they can go after them. This country is free because we are an armed populous. Plain and simple and every dictator around the world knows it. Tyrants only remain in power because they’ve disarmed the peons and they can’t fight back.
