For once I agee with PRAVDA.
Perennial cynics would point out that Russia has a lot to gain by carboniferous energy, which is true, but when asking about how much science is skewed by money, nobody seems to ask about how grants feed globull warmism philosophy, only about how much the oilcos have to spend.
Somehow the earth managed to live whilst (on any of various old earth theories) its plant life was busy tucking away carbon dioxide into fossil fuels. Now some of this old carbon dioxide is coming back from the fires in which these fuels are being burned, and everyone’s going around hollering OMG! we’re going to overheat!

And Pravda has been telling the truth about Ubama and the moocher class that elected and re-elected him for a long time now. It's just weird how the US keeps trending towards the failed communist model while the failed communist models are trending toward the capitalist model - - you know, the system that made America the greatest nation on earth before its decline.

Thank God we do not ever again have to rely on the thoroughly corrupt Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms here in America to give the citizenry the truth about anything. I'm pretty old now, and I sometimes wonder just how much damage the Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms did to America during the past several decades before the rise of the "new media" and the variety it has provided with the internet, talk radio, and 24-hour cable news.
I suspect the damage was incalculable. The election and re-election of an African communist as President of the United States and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces is all the evidence I need. Barack Hussein Ubama? Is that a sick joke?

The sun's peak of solar activity this year will likely be the quietest seen in at least 100 years, say NASA scientists who watch Earth's closest star daily.
Sunspot numbers are low, researchers said, even as the sun reaches the peak of its 11-year activity cycle. Also, radio waves that are known to indicate high solar activity have been very subdued.
"It's likely to be the lowest solar maximum, as measured by sunspot 'number,' in more than a century," wrote Joe Gurman, a project scientist for NASA's sun-observing mission Stereo, or Solar TErrestrial RElations Observatory. The current sun weather cycle is known as Solar Cycle 24.

So pravda is claiming that is was Russian hackers behind Climate Gate. Them Rus is good at hacking.
I forget the details (November, 2009) but I remember that at the time there was strong evidence that the email leaks were indeed the work of Russian hackers. I don’t think it is known for absolutely certain, though.

It's been interesting to watch Pravda go from being 80% or so lies to 95% truth as our "media" have evolved in exactly the opposite direction.
Not a sick joke but a horror story that makes Steven King look like an amateur. Slick Willie was the sick joke.
