It has gone unremarked upon by their peers in the media, but a few people noted it on Twitter. This morning NBC's Meet the Press featuring gun criminal David Gregory ran a graphic of the U.S. national debt clock that showed the debt at $13 trillion, a mere $3 trillion short of where it actually stands.
Most notably, former U.S. Comptroller General David Walker tweeted about it.

This is an outrage but NBC is a tentacle of the Obama regime. They gotta do what they gotta do for “the Won”.

Without checking, I think the $13 trillion excludes Treasuries held by the U.S. Government in the “Social Security trust fund”. If they look at it that way, then the U.S. government’s Social Security obligations are 100% unfunded. They can’t have it both ways.
I suspect this is about all we can expect from the Lamestream Media from now on; especially in the economic news. It’ll HAVE to be exaggerated and TWEAKED a bit to make THE FIRST MULATTO PRESIDENT look good. (I’m still waiting for the FIRST TRULY BLACK PRESIDENT.)

I'm still looking for updates on how the investigation is going.
What scares the hell out of me is what the debt will be if interest rates go to 4%.
They can’t stay at 0 forever.
