Feminism is partly to blame for the breakdown of the family, one of Labours most senior female politicians has said.
Diane Abbott, the partys public health spokesman, said that major issues facing society stem from family breakdown. And in a surprise admission from one of the Lefts most outspoken feminists, she conceded that womens rights campaigners have neglected the family.
Abbott, a divorced mother with one son, also highlighted the harmful impact on society of internet pornography and fast food.
In a nod to Labour orthodoxy, Abbott said: When I talk about stable families, I do not only mean the heterosexual, 2.1-children set-up, but also extended families or same-sex relationships. But she added: I still believe some kind of stable family structure is vital and that is what most people want around them. I do not think we should abandon that terrain to the Right.

Evil fast food.
THIS IS A NO BRAINER
My wife doesn’t support the Feminist Agenda because she refuses to be lowered to equality.
For gods sake, dont turn this woman into a hero.
I made sure to put in one particular paragraph (the last one quoted) so that does not happen here at least. I would say that no matter what effort is expended to defray it, the woman would be a hero to some segment of society anyway . . .
Abbott is an idiot, she is also a hypocrite and racist.
